It was just another day at the robot. Usually, it would be spent doing important tasks like repairing any broken controls, updating computer softwares, research or testing out new inventions but that wasn't the case today.
Spyder became the number one priority as the boy had done something stupid that could of caused an injury to occur. Right now, Harris, Hana and Natalie were all sitting in the Med Bay with the injured boy. Mark and Ryan could care less about his injury as they knew it was caused by a dumb decision.
"Explain to me again why you tried to do a double somersault off my lab bench?" Harris asked and scanned Spyder's left arm.
"Because I was dared too." Spyder simplified, causing the others to roll their eyes.
"By who?" Natalie asked in confusion.
"By me, I don't take that from anybody." Spyder said like it was obvious.
"I don't have time for this, Spyder. I'm analyzing the fingerprint of Ryan's note and I need to come up with a project for the first round of the Harper Grant." Harris explained with a sigh as the boy was stressed about his mountain of tasks.
"No, I'm already doing a study on arthropod and mollusk hemocyanin." Harris argued. Spyder pretended to fake snore and gasp at Harris's sentence as the boy found it boring.
"Seth Harper's gonna hate that. I once saw him wrestle a feral pig on some wildlife show." Spyder said and they all looked at him weirdly.
"That doesn't sound remotely true." Harris pointed out and the girls nodded in agreement.
"The point is, he's a maverick, an adventurer like me." Spyder said happily.
"Like you?" Harris asked.
"Yes, ok? If you want to impress Seth Harper, you have to do something daring. Get in touch with your inner Spyder. Ignore that nerdy voice in your head telling you to follow the rules." Spyder explained.
"I love that voice. It sounds like Morgan Freeman." Harris smiled happily.
"Weird, mine just sounds like me." Natalie said.
"I'm with Spyder on this one. Embrace your inner freedom and let loose." Hana agreed.
"That advice would sound good if it wasn't coming from two ex-convicts." Natalie pointed out.
