Atlas and Kylo have been training for some months now; but never has Atlas forgotten that dream. It is always in the back of her mind. It haunts her everyday. There was just no way for her to forget it. And lately, it's been consuming her. Breaking her into smaller pieces each time she thinks about it. And now, Kylo has seen how it's affecting her. He feels it deep in his bones how empty she feels. And he does nothing to stop it. He likes to see the dark side call to her. He feels the power slowly growing inside of her. He sees the way she's slowly altering places.

During those months, Kylo's feelings for Atlas had grown. Unlike before, he now sees the little details in her that he didn't see before. He admires how productivity. He loves how strong she is. Not physically, but emotionally. She never took any scold from Kylo to heart. But instead, she learned from them. She took every help from Kylo into consideration. Kylo noticed that she loved to learn. And soon she was just as good as Kylo himself. She memorized everything Kylo has taught her and perfected it. And Kylo admired this. He admired her ambition. They got closer together, like a bond, little by little.

And Atlas didn't mind it. She didn't mind getting closer to someone. But Kylo did. Ever since he had joined The First Order, he has been accustomed to not feeling any affection towards someone. He was taught that showing affection and love means weakness; and that was unacceptable. To show weakness. And this is what drove him to killing his father. But since then, he felt more and more weak. He never wanted to kill his father, Han Solo. But he couldn't disappoint The First Order. His father, his mother was the only thing holding him back from being fully emerged into the Dark Side.

But with Atlas, he couldn't help but feel something for her. It wasn't like anything he has felt before. It was a different kind of feeling. It wasn't like anything he felt for his father or his mother. Yes, he had felt love for them once. But this, with Atlas, was something he had never felt before. And he couldn't help but feel great regret each time he looked at her.

And so, Kylo had to learn to cope with his feelings; making sure that not one bit of it showed. To conceal it all. It had made Kylo grow cold. But he knew that it would soon burst out.

But for Atlas, everyday when she trained, she saw a man that was broken. A man that was forced to do things he never wanted to do. A man who was never allowed to love and feel something. A man who was forced to feel numb. To show no sympathy towards others. But Atlas knew deep down that he didn't have to be this way. She didn't want to necessarily convert him into the light side because she grew to admire the dark side. But  to change his point of view on love. She believes that she could change that. Show him that showing love and affection doesn't make him weak. But she knows that it would take a lifetime to show him. But maybe she can spend a lifetime with him. That's all it would take. Even if it meant never seeing Leia again.

Neither of them expected life to take this turn.

She expected for The First Order to be defeated by the Resistance. And that once they defeated them, she would be back at the base with Leia and the crew. She expected that once she had information from The First Order and sent it to the Resistance, Leia would see how good she will be with other assignments. But that wasn't the case.

No. She was caught and was held captive for a while. She was sent to stay at Kylo's personal quarters. She was force choke by him a couple of times. And then she started training and built a lightsaber. An actual lightsaber! And lastly, she never expected to be slowly pulled into the Dark Side.

And she accepted it. If this was going to be her life then she is gonna learn to live with it. Regardless of what happens to her.

She spent days thinking about this. About what has become of her. How these events in her life had changed her as a person. How Kylo had changed her whole personality. And how she wanted to change him. Change him to love her. Because she knew he was holding himself back from him loving her.

And this was it. This was what her life had become. And there's still so much more to come.
