*So, I'm going to do a quick rundown of the new friendships Akari has now since I can't wait to write the game between Shiratorizawa and Niyama. I want Akari to be a 2nd year already since this book isn't up to the present time of Haikyuu. I won't go into much detail for this training camp because the purpose was to introduce her new friends: Bokuto and Kuroo which I find their jokes to each other really humorous*
Recap New Friendships:
*Sakiko Shimamura* 1st year Wing Spiker
• Encountered Akari in Middle School
• They became friends and exchanged numbers after the training camp.
• They text each about what's going on in Tokyo/Miyagi, volleyball, school, and life
*Mako Abe* 3rd year Wing Spiker/Ace
• Akari's teacher you can say since she teaches her how to do a cut shot with her left hand.
• Mako sees Akari as a student and in a competitive way of seeing who's the best Lefty Spiker.
• She hopes to play Akari in Nationals to see the Battle of The Lefties
• She pictures Akari and Wakatoshi together since she saw them eating breakfast and dinner together with their teammates.
• Mako was amazed that Wakatoshi is a lefty as well when they challenged them since Shiratorizawa came on top.
• Battle of the Lefties 🔥🏐
*Bokuto* 1st year Wing Spiker/Ace
• Akari's goofy and energetic friend
• He would ask if she had seen him spike since the girls came over on the last day to challenge their counterpart.
• Akari challenged his team which they unfortunately almost lost 25-23
• Akari knows about his mood swings and would always try and cheer him up, much to Wakatoshi's dismay since he was feeling down in a set against him
*Kuroo* 1st year Middle Blocker
• Akari just likes his bed hair and likes the interaction between him and Bokuto
• "Hey Kuroo--"
• "Shaddap!!"
• "I didn't say anything yet!"
• Akari could not stop laughing.
• Akari likes his people skills and this he'll make a great businessman one day
• Kuroo would watch Bokuto play next to her and would make a few jokes about Bokuto which makes her laugh
• He enjoys making her laugh but knows that Ushiwaka is watching him as he plays or doesn't.
• Akari would cheer for him too. But Bokuto would whine and complain on the last day.
• "Thanks Akari-chan."
• "Akari-chan, what about me?"
• "What about you? I blocked you!"
• "GRR! Bring the ball to me!"
Recap Friendships w/in Shiratorizawa
*Wakatoshi* 1st year Wing Spiker
• Cuddles with him after practices
• He shares his meats with her since she loves teriyaki chicken
• Would give her vegetables too
• She would eat it anyway since vegetables is healthy too
• He would carry her books if necessary
• Would stare at other male classmates who're getting help with their homework or quizzes
• Ask her things that he doesn't know about along with Tendou
• Would still play volleyball with her during Lunch
• Enjoys spending time with her even if they'll be busy during the Qualifiers.
• Hang out with her in her dorm or his after Saturday practices
• Do study dates which turn into small session of cuddling after their done
• He's proud that he got a high score on the geography quiz like Akari
• "Good job, Wakatoshi."
• "Thank you"
• Both don't really like to do PDA since they're only 1st years
• Would massage Akari's legs and shoulders after practice
• Would get massages for his shoulders, back, arms, and hands from Akari
• He enjoys physical contact with her
• It calms him down after a hard practice
*Tendou* 1st year Middle Blocker
• Find him like Bokuto but cut out the mood swings
• Akari would keep Tendou's secret of eating ice cream every day from Asami
• Akari would sometimes eat chocolate ice cream with 😋🍪
• He tries to block her sometimes during their Lunch breaks
• Have a playful yet fun relationship
• He would tease her about Wakatoshi
• "Eh, Akari-chan why was Wakatoshi not in our dorm last night?"
• "Because he didn't want to leave so I made him sleep on the couch"
• "Yeah sure. The couch."
• Would bug her all day about Wakatoshi and complains to her sometimes
• "Can you tell Wakatoshi he needs to give me back my Manga."
*Asami/Mei/Saeko* 1st year teammates
• They're close as 1st years
• Hang out with each other after practice sometimes
• Get along on the court na doff the court
• They all understand each other and knows each other's crush
• Asami has been friends with Tendou in Middle school so...crush!
• They all know about Akari's friendship with Wakatoshi
• They basically ship the 2
• Would hang out with the other 1st years in Tendou's and Wakatoshi's dorm.
• They would take pictures of Akari falling asleep on Wakatoshi
• He wouldn't mind because he already knows they'll do it anyway but Akari would be flustered
