"Are you awake?" I hear the question as soon as I open my eyes. Was he watching me sleep?
I nod and he smiles, "the nurse changed the IV drip, when this one finish, I can take you home."
Hearing the word 'home', I wince unconsciously, and he notices immediately.
"No, I changed my mind, I will take you to my house so that I won't keep sending you messages all night long, asking if you are okay," he says.
I feel tears welling to my eyes as he is extremely nice towards me, unlike certain somebody.
"What's wrong?" he encircles his arms around me, "is the idea of coming to my house that terrifying?"
I let out a soft chuckle while hugging him back. Nowadays, he is the only joy in my complicated life.
We keep on hugging until the nurse shows up in the room.
"This is the medication he needs, you can buy from the pharmacy on the first floor," she gives the paper to Li Qiang and leaves the room.
"I will be right back," he also leaves the room.
Then I notice a very important object on the nightstand...
