"Taxi tayo, ayaw kong maging driver mo." I scoffed at Jeremiah as we went out of the restaurant.

"Whatever." he shrugged. I rolled my eyes at nagbantay ng taxi.

It was a short ride since, may shortcut naman mula sa restaurant papuntang mall. I took out my money to pay for the half of the fee pero nagulat ako nang binayaran ni Jeremiah 'yong buo. Mabait naman pala 'to pero duh, suplado pa din siya sa paningin ko.

I went out of the taxi at ganon din si Jeremiah, he's sitting on the shotgun seat at nasa back seat ako. When we went inside the mall ay nakasunod lamang ako sa kanya, I am thinking a way to say thank you because he paid for our fee.

"Jeremiah." I called him and good thing, lumingon naman agad ito sa akin, wearing his famous blank face.

"Thank you." I mumbled.

Kumunot ang noo nito. "What did you say?"

I wanted to roll my eyes but I stopped myself. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." he replied. "Concern lang naman ako baka wala ka nang pera."

What the hell?

Hindi ko na lamang siya pinansin at nauna nang lumakad, I heard him chuckle a bit pero hindi 'yon ang concern ko. All I can think right now is how to punch his face. I decided to eat at Jollibee and nakasunod pa din si Jeremiah sa'kin, I don't have the rights to shoo him away since may karapatan naman siyang kumain dito as long as hindi kami magka-table dahil mawawalan lang ako ng gana.

I directly fall in line to have my order bago maghanap ng table and of course, nasa likod ko siya at wala akong balak na pansinin siya. After I ordered naghanap na agad ako ng table and unfortunately, isang table na lang ang available dahil madaming customers at isa pa, lunch time ngayon.

While waiting for my order, I saw Jeremiah heading to my table. Kumunot naman ang noo ko sa kanya but he just gave me a poker look on his face.

"Table ko 'to." I scoffed when he sat right in front of me.

"As you can see, wala nang available na table." Jeremiah replied.

I looked around and tama nga ang sinabi nito. I guess I have no choice but tiisin na kumain na kaharap si Jeremiah. Halos magkasabay ang pagbigay ng order namin, we didn't talk and just eat na para bang wala ang presensya ng isa't isa.

I am still eating while Jeremiah keeps on watching me. Hindi ako komportable sa mga tingin niya, his eyes were just staring at me without any thoughts inside his mind dahil blangko lamang ang mukha nito. It annoys me.

"What?" I spat, tumaas naman ang kilay nito.

"What?" he asked, mimicking my voice.

"Why are you staring at me?"
