I stepped out of my room, adjusting my skirt. I figured with all the handy work done, I don't need to wear pants anymore. It wasn't anything fancy. A light brown skirt, belted with a burgendy tunic on top. I went to head down to the kitchen to see if I needed to make breakfast, or if Adrian already had it covered.

I looked up from my feet to find the blond standing down the hall, just staring. "I figured, with less physical work, it be alright to wear a skirt," I explained bashfully.

He smiled and approached me. "You look wonderful," he assured me. He reached out and grabbed my hand, kissing lightly. In his other hand was a tray, holding breakfast. "With the night last night, I figure breakfast in bed would be nice surprise for you."

"We both get up at the ass crack if dawn," I reminded me as we walked the few steps back to my room. He kept my hand up his own, making me look away bashfully.

He led me over to the bed. I sat down and held my hands out for the tray. "Have you eaten yet?" I questioned.

He sat the tray down in my out stretch hands. "Not yet," he said, sitting down next to me. I then noticed the two plates in the tray.

I slid back in the mattris, giving me room to place the tray in front of me. "What are your plans for the day?" I asked picking up one of the forks, to stab a flacky piece of brioled fish.

"I was planning to work in the lights in the hold, then helping you research in the afternoon," he informed me. "Do you have any special plans?"

I twirled my from in my hand as I thought. "Not really, reasurch, as usual, might practice some magic..." I explained, "But you don't need to help me, you can do whatever you want."

"And I want to help you," he assured me. His eyes held no hesitation or malice. He truly wanted to. This caused me confusion. I just scowled at my food. "It's alright, the fish did nothing to you."

"You know I'm confused about all this," I reminded him.

He leaned over and kissed my cheek. "Don't think about it then," he said nonchalantly, "Just accept it."

"I over think everything," I deadpanned.

He smiled at me, and grabbed my fork-free hand. "Then new plans for today, I'm gonna show you love all day," Adrian proclaimed, squeezing my hand.

I squinted at him. "I'm sacred," I confessed.

He brought my hand to his lip. "Don't be," he assured me. "Now finish eating, I'll come get you when everything is prepaired."

The blond slipped his hand out of mine and left the room, closing the door behind him. I let out a sigh and finished eating. Once done I stacked the dishware onto the tray, and placed it on the bed side table.

I couldn't help but pace to pass the time. It kept me from going fully into my thoughts, wondering what he was going to do. My mind wandered to what I could expect. It obviously wasn't going to be something to eat, as we just had breakfast. Was he gonna give me something? Was he planning an activity? There was so many possibilities.

My mind couldn't help but to wonder to what I wanted. It was reminiscent of our evenings. The two of us just spending time together. This time it be out in the forest, maybe a few books to read when the conversation dies, some snacks between us. Just the two of us, stress free.

Adrian returned with a light knock on the door. I froze mod pace to watch him walk in. The slight look of amusement cause me to take my nail out of my mouth. "You have nothing to worry about," he assured me, reaching out for my hand.

I hesitantly grabbed it, and let him lead me down the halls by it. "Then what's going on?" I questioned out of worry.

"You'll have to wait," he informed me, pulling me closer as he had his arm around my waist. It was strange being so close, but no one else saw us, so I figured it was alright.

I let out a groan as we went higher into the castle. "I hate not knowing," I complained, throwing myself into a slump.

"Be patient, my lady," Adrian told me, gripping me tighter.

I straightened up and glanced at him in confusion. "My lady?" I questioned. I may be wearing a skirt, but we both knew I was no lady.

"To formal?" he questioned, "Would another work? My sweet?" I cringed at the thought of me being called that. "Honey?" I shook my head. "Sweetheart?" My nose scrunched up at that one. "Pet?" I full on flinched in that one. "Sorry," he was quick to apologize for his mistake. "Angel?" I stuck my tongue out at that one.

"Love?" he asked. I didn't get repulsed by it. Sure I was still uncomfortable with it. The blond took my lack of repulsion as acceptance. "Alright, Love," he settled in his, and setting a kiss atop my head.

"Do I need to give you a nickname?" I questioned bashfully, or annoyed. He probably saw the annoyance through it.

Adrien gave me a smile. "Only when you're ready," he assured me. I let out a breath of relief.

Finally we got to our destination. It looked to be a sitting room of some sort, but littered with things. Mainly dressed and accessories. I glanced at the dhampire questioningly. "My father gifted my mother with far many things than she'd ever need," he explained, "These are some I could gather, your welcome to all of it."

I quickly took a step back and vigorously shook my head. "Nope," I quickly disagreed. "These are your mother's, it wouldn't be right."

A small sigh left the man. "I understand, but believe me when I say this, they'd want you to have this," he told me, staring me in the eyes.

I bit my lip and let out a slow exhale. "Maybe if I ruin anymore clothes, I'll need a dress, but for now, I'm fine," I compromised. I could already see the devious glint in his eyes.

"At least," he held up a finger and went off to a table crowded with jewelry. I tryed resisting the sigh coming front he knowledge that I'd need to reject him. I could see that jewelry, it was lavish and golden.

I didn't know what I was expecting him to bring, but it wasn't what I was expecting. It was a small flower embedded in a piece of glass, on a chain to make a necklace. "At least accept this," Adrian pleaded. Before I could refuse he stepped behind me to clasp it on my neck.
