Hisoka's POV

We were sitting around in the living room, while I showed Illumi about 5 spare suits I had. Some of them looked quite good on him, but they were also a bit feminine.
We finally decided on a simple black suit. It looked like mine but with a hint of dark red.
He sighed, slumping onto the couch.
"I want to get this over with. I hate her.. so much. She probably can't even fight."
I looked over to him, sitting down and putting a arm around his shoulder.
"Isn't she also a trained assassin?"
Illumi sat there, staring at the ground while processing what I just said.
"Oh right.. I keep forgetting. Well.. probably because she looked so weak and also relies on her men too much."

I laughed, rubbing his hair.
"You've got a point."
Illumi sighed, slumping onto me and putting his arms around me.
I grinned, kissing his head as I relaxed into the couch.
"So. When do you want to plan the wedding?"
Illumi's head immediately shot up, his eyes wide and cheeks flushed.
"Wait. WHAT? What do you mean wedding??"
I wasn't sure if Illumi was going delusional or if I was.
"We're gonna have to plan it one day, don't we?"
Illumi's face relaxed, him resting his head back onto my chest.
"Yeah, I guess. But why can't we just sign the papers and end it there. Why do we have to go all out?"
I pinched his cheek lightly, chuckling.
"Because it'll be fun. Trust me."
He rolled his eyes, smacking my hand away.
"Okay. Maybe in a year or so."

My eyes widened
A year??
"Wait! Thats too long. What if your parents manage to catch up and y'know.. force you to marry Aoi?"
It I we're speaking the truth, I just wanted to get married to Illumi.
I don't know why in such a rush. But if we planned it out, throughout a year.. that would've been fine.
"Planning takes a long time though, right? Then we can just spread out the planning throughout a year."
Damn it, he was literally reading my mind.
"Thats fine by me. I just want to see you in a white wedding dress~"
Illumi rolled his eyes again, lightly punching my arm.
"Why don't you wear the dress for once."
I was guessing he was being sarcastic, but honestly, I wouldn't mind wearing one.
"That works!"
Illumi stared at me blankly, I was guessing he was in shock
"Woah. Okay. I wasn't guessing you'd actually agree but okay."
I smiled, caressing his chin.
"Of course I would. Anything for you, baby~"
He leaned into the touch, I took notes on how he liked it when I touched him like this.
"I love you.~"
Illumi closed his eyes, nodding.
"I love you too."

It was a couple hours later, finally time for Lunch.
We decided to stay home as Illumi didn't feel like going out.
I cooked us some Pasta, giving a plate to Illumi.
We ate in silence, mostly just stuck in our own thoughts. But I didn't mind since that gave me time to admire my one and only true love.
Besides Gon.
That boy was special but unripe.
After eating in complete silence, we decided to get Illumi prepped a bit early.
He put his suit on and I started to do his hair.
Brushing it, styling it. Doing whatever.
I tied it into a low braid, trying my best to make it look clean.
A couple fail tries after, I finally got it and grinned.
Illumi patted his hair and smile lightly.
"Looks lovely."
I nodded, bringing Illumi up from his chair and taking a hand with mine, and putting his other onto my waist.
"You look stunning, my darling~"

Illumi's cheeks flushed red, he avoided eye contact while I chuckled.
"Care for a quick dance?~"
He shrugged, looking back at me.
"I guess so."
Even though there was no music playing in the background, it felt nice dancing with your Fiancé.
Though.. Illumi wasn't the best at it.
I had experience doing formal dances while he probably didn't.
Illumi kept on stepping on my feet or stumbling and loosing balance, but I always caught him.
He seemed embarrassed but I laughed it off, it was quite cute in my opinion.
Soon, he finally got the hang of it, we slowly moved around the room, eyes locked into each other's.

A couple minutes of dancing later, we ended it with a soft but long kiss.
His butterfly lips and mine connected as we embraced each other once again.
I didn't know why, but his kisses always felt so.. magical. They weren't like others.
He finally let go of each other, staring into each others eyes for a bit.
"I didn't know you could dance."
I smiled, bringing him over to back to the couch in the living room.
"It's because I practice sometimes.~"
Illumi sat down, avoiding ruining his tuxedo.
"By yourself?"
I sat down beside him, putting an arm around his shoulder.
"Well.. yeah, I guess."

Illumi let out a stifled giggled, covering his mouth and looking away.
I frowned, crossing my arms in disappointment.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop laughing. But thats pretty sad."
I threw my arms in the air, glaring at him.
"Well who am I supposed to do it with? Dead bodies?"
He shrugged, giggling quietly to my anger.
"I guess."
I huffed, avoiding eye contact and crossing my arms.
"You're mean."
Illumi shrugged, a smile now plastered onto his face.
"I know that."
—————
A couple hours had past. We'd watched a movie, talked to each other, and just had time for ourselves for once.
I looked at my watch and it said
"6:57"
I sighed, getting up.
Illumi looked at me, confused and then realization sunk into his face.
"Is it time?"
I nodded, lifting him up by his hand and directing him out the door.
We saw a black limousine drive to our house, and Illumi looked bored.
Aoi stepped out, in the most decked out fluffy dressed, a white one should I say. Almost like a wedding dress. High heels, her hair was in royal curls and makeup looked terrible.
I almost gagged, looking away at the way she did her makeup just made my entire heart burst.

"Hiiii!~ You look so handsome! C'mon, lets go."
She grabbed his hand, but I stopped her.
"Wait. Let me just talk to him for once."
I dragged him back to me, putting my hands onto his shoulders.
"Listen. If she does anything crazy, leave. I'll come looking for you if you don't get here by 9. Okay?"
He nodded, kissing my cheek.
"I'll be fine, Hisoka. I can get out by myself probably."
I sighed, nodding, bringing him back over to Aoi.
"Have fun. I guess."
Aoi took his hand a dragged him over to the limousine, stuffing him inside of it, and also getting in.
They slammed the door and soon, they were on their way.
For some reason, I had a sick feeling in my stomach.
Worry.
"Please be okay, lovely."
