I opened the door and what was there in front of me made my mouth drop to the floor. The ground had rose petals leading up to the bathtub and on the edges of the tub, there were candles. It felt like I was in a dream.

I called out "Cedric? Are you in here?" there was no reply.

I walked over to the bath to feel the temperature of the water. Perfect. I undressed and slipped into the water. It felt like heaven on my skin. Once I was fully submerged, the bubbles started to move. They lifted from the surface and into the air, forming Cedric's face.

He spoke, "Hey y/n. I just wanted to do something special for you. I hope you like it!"

The bubbles dispersed and fell back to the water. I was in shock that someone cared this deeply for me. I sunk fully into the water and just enjoyed my relaxation time.

1 month had passed since that night and the special gestures haven't ended. He surprised me in class with flowers, he's taken me on surprise dates, and he even snuck into our common room to hang out and cuddle. But my favorite by far was the love notes we pass back and forth. I keep every single one stored in a little purple box underneath my bed. I never knew that one person could make me so happy.

I woke up the next morning with a huge smile plastered onto my face, as always, eager to see Cedric. I headed out of the dorms to my first class of the day, Divination. I reached the staircase to her class when I looked over and saw Cho Chang and Cedric laughing. I knew Cho, she was a Ravenclaw. She was also the seeker for her quidditch team. It was just harmless laughing and I was being overprotective. I walked up the stairs and entered class. But I couldn't get that picture out of my mind. I was put off for the rest of the day so I decided to skip lunch and take a nap. I was laying in my bed when I heard the door creak. I whipped out my wand, and to my surprise it was Cedric.

"Blimey y/n! You could've taken out my eye!" Cedric said startled by my reflexes.

I relaxed and put my head back on my pillow "Never sneak up on me like that Ced."

"Duly noted," he answered with a chuckle. I could feel his face become more serious. "y/n, are you okay?" He asked hesitantly.

I turned my body to face him, "Yeah. I'm fine. I just have a headache so I wanted to take a nap." I fibbed.

"Would you like me to stay with you?" He asked in a concerned tone.

"You don't have to," I replied nicely. I didn't want to straight-up tell him that I wanted him to leave.

"But I do. I want to stay with you." He said with puppy dog eyes.

My heart melted at those words. He joined me in my bed and snuggled his head on my chest. Any negative thoughts I had were cast away. All that was there was him. In my arms. I closed my eyes and started to doze off. That's when I heard the door swing open.
