A group of girls entered, too busy talking amongst themselves to see Cedric who was frozen in my bed. I shoved him off and signaled him to run as fast as he could out of here. If that was going to happen, I had to distract the girls. I got up went over to them and tried to make small talk. I sat on an empty bed next to the group of girls facing the door so that I could signal Cedric.

"Hey guys," I said awkwardly. Note to self, fix your social skills. "what's going on?"

They looked at one another with confused faces and one of the girls perked up, "Nothing. Why do ask?"

I waved Cedric to run and he did, but the door slammed behind him. This got their attention off of me.

"What was that!?" One of the girls said with a slightly frightened face.

"Oh it was probably nothing but I'll go check it! Nice talking to you!" I yelled back at them as I rushed to meet Cedric.

I sprinted out of the common room and crashed right into him. We lay on the ground in total silence and shock. After processing what had just happened, we burst out laughing simultaneously. We were still on the floor when our laughter subsided. We locked eyes and the air became tense. He leaned forward and pressed his lips into mine, pushing me backward. Warmth spread throughout my body giving me a tingling sensation everywhere. He pulled away slowly but I had to have more. I pulled him back in and there we were. Making out on the floor of the corridor. Him on top of me. So absorbed in our own world that we didn't even notice footsteps approaching us.

An unmistakable voice boomed over us. "Detention. I'll see you in my office, immediately."

We looked up and we saw Professor Snape, staring down at us with disgust written all over his face. A strong blush came over my face, and the same thing happened to Cedric. He got up first and stretched his hand out to me. I gladly took it and together we followed Snape who was already halfway down the corridor.

We entered Snape's office, but we weren't alone. In the corner stopped Draco, snickering at the sight of us in trouble.

"Wait here." Snape ordered and dramatically exited his office.

I turned to Malfoy and said, "Why are you here?"

He rolled his eyes and said "None of your business Alatar."

"I don't get it. We used to be mutual friends. Now all of a sudden you hate me? Why?"

He stared me in my eyes, looked at Cedric, and looked back at me, and answered, "Maybe its cause you gained a 150 pounds." He motioned his head at Cedric.

"What did I ever do to you?" Cedric asked, genuinely confused.

But before Draco could respond, Snape came back and announced, "You are lucky that I have an important meeting to attend. You can see yourselves out."

Draco left first in a rush, then Ced, then me. But before we could shout the door Snape called out, "Alatar, if I catch you and Diggory snogging in the hallways again, I'll make sure you regret it. Now leave."

And with those words, Cedric and I rushed away.
