In Luke room
Ty and Amy walk in and sit on each side of the bed of him
“What’s up buddy?” Ty asked
“I don’t want to cause any trouble” Luke said fighting back tears
“You are not any trouble” Amy said
In fact, we love having you here” TY said
“I don’t want to be the reason you guys break up” Luke said
“We are not breaking up in fact we worked it out this morning” TY said
“Look we may have disagreements but that doesn’t mean we don’t love each other because we do” Ty said
“What do you say the four of us go to Maggie’s for lunch today.” Amy said
“That sounds Great!” Luke said
“Can I talk to Luke for a moment?” Ty asked
“Sure, I will go check on Lindy” Amy said
Amy walks out of the room
“Hey Buddy, are you ok?” Ty asked
“I am ok I guess but I want my mom to get better so I can be with her again” Luke said
“She will get better soon but until then you are home” TY said
“Can I help you work on your motorcycle?” Luke asked with a huge smile on his face
“Of course, you can” Ty said
“Awesome!!!!” Luke said with excitement
In the barn
Amy and Lindy walk in, Lindy petting the horses, Ty and Luke walk in
“Can I learn how to ride?” Luke asked
“You want to learn how to ride?” Amy asked
“Yes, I think it would be awesome to be able to go back to my mom’s and tell her I can ride a horse” Luke said
“It’s ok with me, Ty what do you think?” Amy said
“I think its ok if you promise to wear a helmet and listen to everything Amy says” Ty said with a stern voice
“That is great” Luke said
Amy hades Lindy Hand to Luke
“Can you walk around with Lindy for a minute?” Amy asked Luke
“Sure” Luke said with a smile
Luke and Lindy walk around close by where Amy and Ty can keep an eye on them
“Look I never want us to fight. I love you too much for that but when I was a kid someone did tell on my mom and I was taken away from her for good. I don’t want that to happen to Luke” Ty said
“I know and I understand where you are coming from, I do but I have to do what is best for Luke” Amy said
“I get that I do but next time let’s talk it out and make the right choice together” Ty said
“Ok you have yourself a fair deal”. Amy Said
