A true mother

chapter seventeen

Clint walked up to Amy and Ty.

" Clint we're so sorry we thought he would be okay in the barn on his own if we would have known that he was going to try to ride by himself we would have never left " rambled Amy panicking.

" I know you guys didn't mean it but I still need to do my due diligence"I said Clint.

" what would that be "asked Ty nervously.

" I need to talk to Luke and lyndy" said Clint.

" lyndy why do you need to talk to her"?asked Ty.

" the incidents that have happened in the last couple weeks are cause for concern" said Clint.

" are you saying we could lose Lyndy too" asked Amy her voice shaking.

" I'm not jumping to any conclusions " said Clint.

" oh that's a yes" said Ty.

" I just need to talk to the kids "said Clint.

" okay come in then said Amy.

" okay Clint said.

5 minutes later

Clint and Luke were sitting in the living room alone.

" do you want to tell me what happened to your head" ? Asked Clint.

" yeah I wanted to ride because I was upset and I  fell and hit my head" said Luke nervously.

" where were Amy and Ty "? asked Clint .

" they left me alone and I'm sorry because I was upset if they would have known it they never would have let me do it or Amy would have came with me" said Luke.

" okay"  said Clint.

" okay are we done my head hurts" said Luke.

" yeah we're done can you bring lyndy in "? Asked Clint.

Luke turn around in shock hearing or last part..

" why do you need to talk to lyndy" ? Asked Luke..

" I just need to talk to her for a minute" said Clint.

" you're going to take lyndy away from Amy and Ty aren't you" ? Asked Luke panicking..

" don't worry about it " said Clint.

" you are aren't you it wasn't their fault I did something stupid Amy and Ty do not deserve to have lyndy taken away and lyndy doesn't deserve to be in a strange place with strange people Amy and Ty are good parent and Foster Care suck don't lyndy through that" yelled Luke.

Clint just  sat there in shock for a minute.

Clint suddenly was second-guessing himself about whether or not you should talk to lyndy but carried on getting up himself to lyndy and bring her into the living room

Later that night

" you know how much mommy and daddy love you right "asked Amy  as she was tucking Lyndy into bed

" Mommy why was Clint asking me all those questions "? Asked Lyndy.

"You don't have to worry" about that said Amy kissing Lyndy's head.

" okay "said Lyndy .

" i love you " said Amy smiling. 

" I love you too" said Lyndy.

"Have a good sleep sweetheart " said Amy leaving the room.

In Luke's room

Ty knocked on the door before stepping into Luke's room .

Luke looked up from the book he was reading.

" it's time fur bed buddy "said Ty.

" okay" said Luke.

" how is your head " said Ty

" it hurts but it's okay "said Luke..

" that's good"  said Ty smiling.

" I'm sorry about what happened today " said Luke.

" it's okay just don't do it again" said Ty.

" is Clint going to take me and lyndy away"? Asked Luke..

" don't you worry about it Amy and I are going to make sure that doesn't happen "

"I know I haven't behaved the best but i do like it here "said Luke.

" I know end I'm going to do my best to make sure you can stay here " said Ty.

" okay " said Luke happily.

" you get some sleep now" said Ty leaving  the room.

In Amy and Ty's room.

Amy was sitting on the bed  sobbing.

The things she started to think were terrifying.

"I don't deserve life "

"Ty hates me "

'I'm going to lose Lyndy "

"I'm a terrible mother "

"Everyone would be better off without me."

Then she decided to do something about it.

Amy walked into the kitchen to grab her keys.

Ty who was doing the dishes turned around.

"Are you going somewhere honey " asked Ty.

" yeah I'm gonna go for a drive " said Amy.

"Right now it's late "said Ty.

"I know" said Amy flatly .

" are you okay?" asked Ty.

" yeah I'm fine " said Amy  .

" okay i love you said Ty.

":i love you too "Amy said.

Then she grabbed her keys and left .

Amy drove down the highway gradually speeding up.

A cement pillar of a bridge rapidly approaching purely

She hit the pillar and then blacked out.
