" dammit it didn't work" Amy I was ashamed to admit was her thought when she woke up.

Her second thought well that happened when she realized she was alone.

" nobody's here not even Ty Maybe I was right nobody cares" thought Amy.

She started to panic and hit the nurse call button .

By the time the nurse came in a minute later Amy was sobbing uncontrollably.

"It's okay you're okay "said the nurse gently rubbing her back.

"My husband hates me " sobbed Amy.

"I know for a fact that your husband loves you very much " said the nurse .

" then why isn't he here " asked Amy through sobs.

"I can call him if you'd like "offered the nurse.

"Yes please "said Amy through tears.

" okay " said the nurse.

Then she left the room.

"Call Mr Borden" the nurse told the receptionist.

Meanwhile at heartland.

Ty was putting Lyndy down for her nap when his phone rang.

" hello" he answered.

" okay I'll be right there "and Ty.

Then he hung up.

Ty kissed Lyndy's head.

"Have a nice nap sweetheart daddy's going to go see mommy "said Ty .

"Can I come with you "? Asked Lyndy smiling.

"No not until the doctors find out what's going on with her but you'll be able to see her soon i promise" said Ty.

"Okay" said Lyndy .

"Have a good nap "Ty said.

"Okay say hi to mommy for me said Lyndy.

"Okay i will "said Ty smiling

Then he left the room .

He walked into the kitchen to grab his keys.

"Hey Jack can you do me a favor"? asked Ty.

" sure " said Jack.

"Can you please pick Luke up from school ? Amy's awake and she needs me "said Ty.

" Amy's awake "? Asked Jack.

yes she is "said Ty smiling.

'You go" said Jack .

"Thanks "said Ty racing out the door.

At the hospital.

Ty walked into Amy's room to see her sobbing while the nurse rubbed her back in an attempt to calm her down.

"Hey Amy look who's here "said the nurse.

"Ty" said Amy quietly.

"See i told you he would come "said the nurse smiling.

"Why wouldn't i come"? Asked Ty sweetly.

He walked over to the bed and kissed her head.

"She thinks you hate her "said the nurse.

"Hate you ? No love you so much" said Ty

"I'll be back in a bit "said the nurse leaving the room.

"I'm so sorry Ty" said Amy through a Fresh round of tears.

" what are you sorry for "? Asked Ty.

"I'm sorry that the car accident wasn't an accident at all "

"I'm sorry that my first thought when I woke up was dammit I'm still alive ".

"I'm sorry I wrecked the truck "

"I'm sorry I'm so selfish "

"I'm sorry you got the short end of the stick when it comes to a marriage "

"I'm sorry that your kids got such a crapy mom "

Ty's heart felt like it had just been shattered.

"Amy honey look at me "said Ty.

Amy looked up at him.

" first and foremost I love you second we're not losing our kids I talk to Clint today 3rd I should do it I need to know why you did it" said Ty.

"I did it because i feel worthless "

"I did it because you and the kids are better off without me "said Amy.
