Chapter 15

It's a Sunday and Cove's driving papunta kila Cos. I opted to wear a fitted black tube dress, denim jacket, and some white sneakers. I curled the ends of my hair and put on some accessories to match my outift. Cove on the other hand was wearing a white button-down shirt with its three-button opened. He tucked it in his cream colored cropped trousers, and a white low top sneakers. His hair was brushed up and he was wearing a metal necklace. He looks hot with his outfit that I can't help but to admire him when he arrived at our house. I even uttered the word 'damn' nung nakita ko siyang bumaba mula sa sasakyan niya with his sunglasses on.

Pagdating naming kila Cos andun na yung apat, sa Makati sila nakatira and to my surprise hindi traditional Chinese house and nadatnan ko 'cause Cos is half-Chinese. It was a three-storey modern type of house that has black, white, gray and gold palette; they have a huge glass window na tanaw ang garden at pool. Their receiving area has this big chandelier that made it bright and they have some paintings hanging on their wall. It was an open-down view if you're on the second and third floor. They even have some antique things and a grand staircase.

Maya-maya pa nakita na namin si Tita pati si Ate Massy na buhat buhat ang tulog na si Marmee.

"Oh, hi girls," bati ni Tita. Bumati kaming lahat sakanya ganon na rin kay Ate Massy ng mapansin ko na nakatingin si Tita Sha kay Cove.

"And who is this young man?" sabay taas ng kilay ni Tita. Cove nervously smiled pero si Tita nagtataray pa rin.

Mataray talaga si Tita pero ngayon tinatakot niya lang si Cove kaya naman pilit pinipigilan ng mga kaibigan ko na tumawa. Kahit si Ate Massy na loko-loko kunwari seryoso lang din.

"I'm Cove po, Ma'am. Nice meeting you po," magalang na sabi niya at nagmano pa kay Tita.

Lihim na napangiti si Tita sa ginawa ni Cove and mouthed to us "I like him". Napailing na natawa naman ako.

"E sino sa mga ito ang nililigawan mo?" agad na nasamid si Cove kahit wala naman siyang iniinom.

"Syempre Tita etong si Kirsche. Ang landi landi," pagsabat ni Rya.

Her mouth formed an 'o' at nabaling sa 'kin agad ang tingin niya, ngumiti lang ako dahil nakakailang pala yung ganito.

"In fairness, Kirsche ah. Magaling pumili," pambubuyo ni Tita.

Natawa nalang kami sa tinuran niya. Pagbaling ko naman kay Ate Massy she mouthed "Pogi" while tapping her chin using the back of her hand.

They kind of interrogated Cove. Nung una kinakabahan pa siya tuwing tatanongin siya ni Tita pero kalaunan ay naging kumportable naman siya. Kami naman kinukulit na si Marmee dahil nagising na siya.

Moments later we proceeded sa garden nila dahil doon gaganapin ang event. Bago ako makapasok sa garden nakasalubong ko pa si Tita.

"I like that guy, Kirsh. He was raised well by his parents. Wag mo na pakawalan yun," she said as she smiled at me. I smiled back. Wala naman talaga akong balak pakawalan pa.

"Hindi na talaga Tita," I jokingly retorted.

Natawa naman siya sa sinabi ko, "Basta wag pababayaan ang pag-aaral ah. Dapat pangatlo lang ang boys," pagpapayo niya.

I nodded at her. I'm one lucky girl to have friends like them dahil kahit mga magulang nila ay tinuturing na kaming anak. They always give us advice at nakakatuwa dahil iba-iba rin ang personality nila. Tita Sha has this kalog personality na kayang sumabay sa mga trip at mga kwentuhan namin. Attitude rin siya minsan pero mabait.
