Shit! Agad akong napahawak sa ulo ko dahil sa sakit non. I really shouldn't have drunk too much 'cause hangover is a bitch. I reached for the water on my bedside table and drunk it. I closed my eyes while massaging my temples when memories from last night flooded me.

We purposely get Cos drunk then Ate Massy gave us more booze then we danced and fooled around and then... I... I kissed Cove? And.. I was such a flirt... last night?

I shouted all my frustrations on my pillow. Sinambunutan ko pa ang sarili ko dahil sa mga kagagahan ko kagabi. Wala talaga mabuting nadudulot sa 'kin ang pag-inom. Hindi na talaga ko iinom. Fuck alcohol!

But that's not the problem now, how am I going to face Cove now with all the stunts I did yesterday? Ugh! Nakakahiya ako! Napakalandi, Kirsche Artemis! I scolded myself.

I was not even done reprimanding myself and thinking of ways to avoid Cove when mommy shouted from downstairs.

"Kirsche! Come down quickly Cove's already here," I panicked upon hearing that, I was thinking of saying that I wasn't feeling well at hindi nalang papasok pero biglang bumukas ang pintuan ng kwarto ko at naabutan ako ni daddy na aligaga.

"Oh bakit ganyan itsura mo? Go down, inaantay ka ni Cove. Male-late na rin kayo," was all he said and closed the door.

Of course, it's Monday! Ang lakas naming maglasing kagabi. But did they know about me being wasted last night? Sinabi ba ni Cove? Ghad, I'm going crazy!

Dahil wala naman na din akong lusot, I took a shower and fixed myself. Magpapanggap nalang ako na walang maalala sa nangyari since that was the first time I drink again after how many years. He'll probably buy that. Nasa hagdan palang ako nagkatinginan na kami ni Cove and he has this blank face but I smiled at him.

"Hey, you're early. Nag-breakfast ka na?" I smiled widely kahit sobrang kinakabahan na ako.

"Yeah, eat up I'll wait for you," he said in all seriousness. I just nod at him at pumunta na sa dining.

During breakfast I was sweating bullets and my heart was beating fast, dad and mom even asked me if I'm sick pero umiling lang ako. That's when mom asked what we did last night, my eyes widened upon hearing her question pero agad niyang dinugtungan na sinabi daw kasi ni Cove na napagod ako kaya tulog na ako nung inihatid niya. Agad akong nakahinga ng maluwag dahil di naman pala sila naghinala. I just kissed them goodbye at tinawag ko na si Cove para umalis.

Habang nasa loob kami ng sasakyan Cove was unusually quiet. I was racking my brain on topics na pwede naming pag-usapan.

"Nag-breakfast ka na?" Stupid. I already asked him earlier kung nag-breakfast na siya.

Nonetheless, he nods at me not breaking his stare on the road. I fidgeted my fingers and thought of other things to ask.

"Uh, thank you pala kagabi for taking me home safe and sound. And thank you for making excuse in my behalf," I smiled at him, but he just shrugged. Should I open the topic about the kiss?

I glanced at him, nakapatong ang kaliwang braso niya window side, and his index finger was on his lips. Ghad, this is so awkward!
