Your life was a dangerous one thwart with difficulty. You were a borrower, a tiny person that borrows things from the giant humans that roamed the land. Saying that, your life was more difficult than others of your kind, the reason for this was where you chose to live and 'borrow' from. You lived in the scouts HQ. More specifically, in the room of the clean freak himself, Captain Levi.
Even though it was an extremely difficult place to live you wouldn't live anywhere else. Levi Ackermans clean freak nature meant that everything including where you lived, under the floor boards and inside the walls, was sparkling clean. It was much better than your old home with your parents, where dust and rubbish seemed to always gather in high amounts and with your small size cleaning it was a serious job and almost impossible job.
The place was sparkling clean, but it was still surrounded by problems. You lived among soldiers who wouldn't hesitate to cut you to pieces the moment they saw you, or worse send you to that crazy glasses-wearing woman, Hange, to be experimented on. Another problem was Levi himself, he scared you as you couldn't get a read on what he would do if he caught you, his stoic and cold demeanour commanded respect and was impossible to see through.
You moved around mostly at night in a bid to try and avoid everyone especially him, the canteen was just down the hall from Levi's room so you would always make a quick dash down there every night to pick up left over crumbs. Although this was a good strategy for avoiding everyone else in the scouts, it didn't work for Levi. The man nearly never slept so it was almost impossible to avoid him in his office and bedroom at all times.
But this had its own benefits, Levi barely left his office at night, so you spent most of your time Levi-gazing from a little mouse sized hole in the wall. It was a perfect circle, you took a bit of bed stuffing and a blanket to lie on and in, as you laid in the curve. You could spend hours laying there while staring at the extremely handsome male.
You could perfectly see his desk and Levi's side profile, his beautifully cut features that flicked in the candlelight as he did his paperwork. He's perfect, was a recurring thought. If only you could say that to his face, or even a hello to his face without him just straight up murdering your ass.
Once again, that's where you were now, lying comfortably in your little hole and staring at this god of a man. But tonight, was different, Levi seemed more agitated than normal and his eyes kept flicking quickly around his room, a little like he was looking for something. His mood put you on edge, so you weren't able to relax as you watched him.
