Bellamy Blake x gender neutral reader

Bellamy Blake. I knew this guy since I started my guard training on the arc. We got along pretty well in training, but we never spend much time alone.

He seemed like the typically charming and ambitious boy, although I sometimes thought I saw a hint of sadness in his eyes.

And now we were on the earth in a not so pleasant situation. Chased by acid fog. Our group split up and everyone ran in different directions.

My only intention was to run as fast as I could. You could hear shrill screams in the distance, from people who weren't fast enough.

I just focused on any possible obstacles which could block my path. I knew the fog was right behind me. My heart was pounding like mad.

Suddenly a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me into the dark. I had to find my balance again first, but then I swiftly turned around. I found myself eye to eye with the one and only Bellamy Blake. I stared at him for a few seconds before I spoke up.

"Thank you!"

He looked still a little tensed from running so fast. I could barely tear myself away from his gaze. I looked around and checked our surroundings. We were in a cave. It was pretty dark, I could barely see the outlines of his face. A large curtain of plants covered the entrance of the cave. Luckily it was thick enough to keep the fog out.

An " I think we have to stay here for a while" turned my attention back to Bellamy.

"Yeah, the last time the fog lasted three hours." I sighed. " Good that I am not stuck here alone." He smiled slightly.

"We have to make a fire. It's already evening and it is getting colder. "

He walked further into the cave to inspect everything. He searched for something flammable, so I hurried to his aide. Sooner than expected we found a few branches and dry leaves. Gladly Bellamy was quick in lighting up a fire with stones. Whenever I tried it there were never enough sparks for a fire.

Afterward, the two of us sat next to the warmth of the flames. Our backs leaned onto the stone walls behind us. The acid fog still didn't clear up yet, therefore we had to stay all night. We talked a lot this night. We spoke about the past, our friendship, and overall about life. Bellamy and I hadn't had conversations like that before, but it felt so good. Since we landed I was stressed all the time. I believe this was the first time on earth I was completely calm.

As I slowly woke up, I felt warm and secure. For a minute, I forgot where I was, but then it all rushed back into my mind. I couldn't help but smile. Facing me was a peacefully sleeping Bellamy. A few of his locks dropped over his shut eyes. He looked so beautiful. His lips formed a small smile. My heart warmed at this sight.

Just then I realized that I was laying in his arms. One around my back, the other one draped around my waist pulling me close. Suddenly his hand on my waist moved. I knew he was about to wake up.

In a reflex, I shut my eyes, because I didn't want him to catch me staring at him. Bellamy shifted his arms, but just to pull me closer to his chest. Still thinking I was deep asleep, he softly stroked my cheek. I couldn't help but smile, because of that romantic gesture.

"Y/N? Are you awake?" he asked in a raspy morning voice.

Embarrassed I hesitantly opened my eyes. His face was now really close. I instantly got lost in his sparkling brown eyes. His warm breath brushed over my lips. His eyes until now locked to mine, shifted now down to my lips. The tension between us was almost unbearable. Bellamy was about to close the distance.

Suddenly we heard screams outside. They called our Names. Mostly Bellamy's. We froze in that position, then we got up and stepped outside. As we reached the others everything went pretty fast. They greeted us, said they already searched for us and brought us back to camp. The day went by but I couldn't stop thinking about the moment I had with Bell. How his lips would feel like.

It was now evening again and all I wanted was to see him. Sadly looking around I couldn't see him anywhere. Just when I gave up and headed back to my tent, I was pulled to the side again. Bellamy took my hand and lead me aside to the trees. I now leaned on one. He was standing right in front of me. We both were about to start talking.

"I" we both started then we chuckled. "You go first" I offered.

"Listen Y/N! I really like you. We can talk about anything and I just enjoy being with you. And you are just overall stunning" With every word he said I got closer.

"I really like you too", I whispered before I closed the gap and pressed my lips passionately to his.
