Harry's POV

"I know you were way too bright for me I'm... hopeless, broken... So, you wait for me... In the high?" I say aloud as Mitch, Sarah and Jeff sit around the crackling campfire that burns flaming orange embers that fly like small fireflies into the night air as quickly as they disappear. I shuffle on the poolside chair and sit cross legged, a black pen in my hand and my leather journal in the other.

"What about wait for me in the sky?" Sarah sings softly, getting shy and everyone agrees which makes her smile and nod, I write it down into my journal the same way everyone else does so we all have a visual of the song we're writing.

"I really like that." Mitch mumbles as he scratches his forearm and Sarah chips at her black nail polish and smiles at him, a pink blush surfacing across her cheeks and I smile at the two of them so hopelessly flirting with one another, neither being able to tell one another despite how obvious it is.

"Okay so following on from the sky part, you'd need something that adds onto it." Jeff says and I look up from my journal, tapping at it with the pen.

"Browns my skin just right?" I say and then follow on by singing it and going high on the 'right'.

"I don't like the high raise too much, sing it low but drag it out." Mitch says and sings it out and I nod at him.

"Good thinking Mitchell." I say and he shrugs at me pretending to be all cool and shit which makes Jeff and I laugh to one another and mimic him, causing him to throw a pillow at me.

I look around at the familiar faces I've learnt to call my family, and everyone continues talking and writing lyrics. The night sky shows barely any stars, aside from the two stars to the right of the moon and it makes me think of Tilly. She's been gone since the 22nd, away filming for a movie and I miss her terribly. The bed feels lonely without her warmth as I toss between the empty sheets, the house is quiet without her reciting her lines; but it doesn't matter too much because I know she'll be home tomorrow. This is the lasts song that needs to be written on the album before we begin the process of finalisation, production and background vocals on the recordings, courtesy of Sarah and our new member Naomi who couldn't be here tonight. I pick up my phone and see if I've missed any texts or calls from Tilly but there's no sight of her name sitting upon the glow of my lock screen, so I turn the phone off and throw it behind me.

"What do you reckon, H?" Sarah asks me, pulling me from my thoughts and I quickly look up at everyone who sits staring at me.

"Um, yeah, sure." I say and Jeff looks at me wide eyed, raising an eyebrow and Mitch starts laughing.

"Wait what did I just agree to?" I ask and they all laugh, Sarah hanging her head down at shaking it in disbelief.

"Sorry!" I say cheerfully.

"Mitch reckons we should get high to finish the rest of this song, but Sarah thinks we should be sober." Jeff explains and my lips part and I shrug.

"Oh! Right okay. What do you think Jeffrey?" I ask and he throws his hands up beside him and purses his lips into a straight line, wide eyes.

"Not me. Sorry, I've got work tomorrow."

"So do we." Mitch and Sarah say in unison and they both laugh, Sarah placing her hand on Mitch's knee and I smile at him when he blushes.

"Oh, so you're into it now are you?" I ask her and she smirks and nods.

"Hey, not my first time doing it... Needn't you forget I'm almost ten years older than you." She says and I laugh at her.
