The TV fades into a man, Jason Russel, and a woman, Riley Donovan, sat at a news table.

"This just in, we have received word of the verdicts of government official Alexander Hamilton and his partners Hercules Mulligan and Marquis de Lafayette," the woman says. "The country has been waiting, so let's see what's going on. Astrid?"

The scene changes to Astrid Spencer, located at New York Supreme County Court.

"Good afternoon, Riley, Jason. Today is a very interesting day, as the news people have been waiting to hear is finally out.

Alexander Hamilton, Hercules Mulligan, and Marquis de Lafayette were charged with multiple crimes just a few weeks prior. You can see over there, the trial has just ended a few minutes ago..."

The camera is turned, focusing on the crowd behind Astrid. Looking closely reveals Hamilton, Hercules, and Lafayette surrounded by people, the Laurens couple a short distance away.

"As you can somewhat see behind me, you have the three of them as well as (Y/N) and John Laurens. From what I was told the Laurens have been left free to go, while Hamilton, Mulligan, and Lafayette are to be questioned even further before being leaving. But it seems both parties are being attacked with questions at the moment though."

Astrid looks back at the camera as it pans back on her.

"So, the news is in, and we have the video footage right here..."

The camera cuts out and changes to inside the court room. Sat at one table is the Laurens with their lawyer, while the one a short distance away sits Lafayette, Hamilton, and their own lawyer. The judge is shuffling through papers, about to give the final verdict.

After some moments of quiet chatter, the judge sets the papers down and bangs the gavel, silencing the talking.

"The jury has made a decision. I hereby declare Alexander Hamilton, Hercules Mulligan, and Marquis de Lafayette guilty." (c'mon guys i'm mean but not t h a t mean)

There's a large wave of talk and noises. (Y/N) and John share a relieved look. Meanwhile, the trio looks defeated.

"Your Honor, I-!" Hamilton tries to shout over the noise.

The judge bangs the gavel again, silencing the room again. "Silence in my court!"

He looks at Lafayette first. "Marquis de Lafayette has been charged with cases of break-in, attempted assault, and kidnapping. Ten years of jail time and an $11,000 fine.

Next, Hercules Mulligan has been charged with cases of break-in, aggravated assault, and kidnapping. Thirteen years of jail time and a $14,000 fine.

Finally, Alexander Hamilton has been charged with cases of break-in, attempted assault, and kidnapping. Twelve years of jail time and a $13,000 fine."

Hamilton looks completely taken aback. "Your- Your Honor, I can assure you—!"

"Silence! This is your punishment for your actions!"

The camera switches angles to John and (Y/N). John says something unintelligible to his wife, holding both of her hands. (Y/N) doesn't say anything, simply smiling.

People start getting up as Hamilton, Mulligan, and Lafayette are approached by a guard. (Y/N) and John are getting ready to start walking away as the camera cuts out and changes back to Astrid.

"So, the news is in. All three men are charged guilty and even have at least ten years of jail time.

Fans of both Laurens are ecstatic already, as well as many others in the country. Meanwhile, the defendents' supporters, particularly Hamilton's, are angered by the trial. They are demanding they be released from jail time, saying the fine was 'sufficient enough'.

I'm Astrid Spencer, reporting from New York Supreme County Court, New York. Back to you Jason, Riley."

It goes to the split screen, changing back to Jason and Riley.

"Thank you, Astrid." Riley looks at her papers then looks at Jason. "Well, we've finally received the verdict. What do you think, Jason?"

"We definitely got the answer many were hoping for, Riley. I personally am glad with the results, but again, that's just me."

Jason looks up at the camera. "All of you watching now, what do you think?"

"Leave your thoughts on social media. This is Riley Donovan and Jason Russel, signing off. Back to your regularly scheduled program."

The camera cuts out, going back to the TV's previous channel.
