"School Dates" (Ryūnosuke Tanaka)

Y/n's POV:
It's always been just the two of us, who would go on dates after class. It was fun. We used to do that everyday. I mean we still do, it just feels different.

Tanaka: " Hey where do you wanna eat? The same place eh?"

Y/n: "Yes, i'll have my regular there."

I said as i gave him a smile.

We went afterwards, i watched as he ordered for his regular. I hope we can last this long. I didn't notice that I have muttered it.

Y/n: "I hope we can last this long.."

It wasn't loud but it was audible to hear.

Tanaka: "Are you okay?"

He looked worried as he held my cheeks, eating his desired food.

Tanaka: "Are you sure? We can stop by anywhere you want today."

I didn't have the energy to reply back, all i knew was that if i can't keep this up. We'll probably break up.

Y/n: "Tanaka.."

He looked back at me again since he was still waiting for the food he had ordered.

He raised a brow, signaling me to tell him.

Y/n: "Tanaka.. I love you so much. I do, so please let's stay strong. I want to grow old with you. Time doesn't matter now, all i want is for me to spend the rest of my life with you.

Tanaka: " What's wrong Y/n? Is there something wrong?"

Y/n: "Nothing's wrong.."

Tanaka: "You wouldn't cry this much if it was just nothing."

He told me, he was right..

I cried on his chest softly

Y/n: "The reason why i blurted all those things were because i feel insecure whenever you're around girls. They're so pretty. I'm sorry.. if i feel this way."

Y/n: "I'm sorry that i'm so insecure, i promise to not keep this up anymore."

He just looked at me, my eyes, he did not say anything which made my heart pound even more.

Tanaka: "Hey, it's okay if you can't take it off so easily, i understand. It takes time."

He stopped talking for a while and looked at me again.

Tanaka: "What made me love myself was you, it was you. I was a loner back then when you made friends with me. It was no doubt that i fell for you. Days passed by, i knew that i loved you, so i was always anxious because other boys might like you, there's really no doubt that a vast amount of boys likes you in this school, am i right?"

We both looked into each other's eyes

Y/n: "So what you're trying to say is.."

Tanaka: "I'm happy that you chose me, throughout those days where your locker is always full of letters and sweet things, you chose me. Despite of the other guys who are willing to be with you and can even take better care of you, you chose me. I love you for that, so never doubt yourself that i will easily replace you as you already have taken the spot in my heart. It will always be you, always."

I didn't know what to say, i was left wandering my mind. Yeah he was a funny guy and all so i never imagined him to say all of these things. I cried, i cried knowing that he went through something that is worth worrying for. I'm sorry.

Y/n: "I'm sorry.. i just feel very insecure considering the fact that you went through something that is worth the times bigger than me to cry for."

I kept on crying when he held my cheek, i still cried. He's such a nice guy, he's my boyfriend, it might not be forever be his title because we will go to another stage where i'll claim his last name.

Tanaka: "I love you too, big or small it needs to be talk about. It doesn't matter what it might be but let's talk it out, okay?"

I nodded

Tanaka: "Since you're done crying.."

I laughed

Tanaka: "Let's eat already, come on i'll take you to the places you like today so let's not waste time.

He grabbed my hand as i stood up.

Y/n: Waste time huh?"

He looked at me confused

Y/n: "I'm kidding, it's just like i told you, the time can run out as long as i'm with you, that's enough to make me happy."

Those were my last words before we went out to the places i've always wanted to.
