Ludwig Vettel was sleeping peacefully in his mother's arms. He was about to watch his father racing, but unfortunately, he couldn't beat his sleepiness. Sometimes Gia looked at him and she kissed his head gently. She adored her little man. She was in love with him since the first second she saw him.

He was born on 25th November, the day when Seb was supposed to leave to Bahrain for two Grands Prix there. But he decided to reschedule his flight and Britta helped him to cancel all media commitments on Thursday.

The baby shared the same name as his late grandfather. Ludwig was an Old High German given name. Ludwig meant a famous warrior. With that meaning, Gia and Seb hoped that he would be a 'warrior' who would always protect his family.

Gia was ready to watch Seb's final race with Ferrari. It would be an emotional one, for sure. And it hurt even more knowing that he was without a win and only getting one podium, until the penultimate race.

As he couldn't do the post-season test with Racing Point, or Aston Martin on the following year, because he still had a contract with Ferrari until 31st December, he decided to go back home after the race.

When Gia was kissing Ludwig's chubby cheek, she felt someone taking a seat next to her. "Mom," she smiled at Adelina.

"How's baby Ludwig?"

"He falls asleep, mom. I thought that he wanted to watch his Papa," she laughed a little.

Adelina laughed as well. "Maybe he decides to sleep while waiting for his Papa to go back home."

Gia looked back at her almost 3-week-old son. On the following day, it would be Seb and herself's first wedding anniversary. It was wonderful for her to realize that in the first year of their marriage, they had been blessed with a child.

"That's Sebastian!" Adelina pointed to the TV screen.

Seb who would start the race from P13 was talking to his race engineer, Riccardo. It would be their last time working together as Ricky obviously didn't leave the team and would probably be appointed as Carlos' race engineer.

As the clock was ticking and it was getting closer to the race time, Seb entered the cockpit of his car. Some mechanics helped him to fasten the seat belt. He was ready for his final race with The Scuderia.

"Good luck, Papa!" Gia whispered, pretending that it was Ludwig who cheered for his father.

Lewis, who had been crowned as a 7-time F1 world champion at the Turkish GP, equalling Michael's record, kept his position on third place, while Max retained the lead after starting from pole.

Seb was very struggling in his position. He found it very difficult to overtake the drivers in front of him and it really hurt to see. But she knew him well that he would never give up.

"Gia, to be honest, I feel so sorry for Seb. This is a very difficult year for him," Adelina talked to Gia.

"I agree, mom. I still can't understand with how Ferrari have treated him. Can you imagine, mom? He has told many times about what his main problem in his car is since two years ago. But his team will start focusing to fix it next year, when he has left the team. I mean, have they never listened to his inputs all this time?" she complained.

She remembered that Seb often explained about how unstable the rear end of the car was since 2018 and people recognized him as a strong driver when his car had a stable rear.

"I don't understand about what his problem is but still, it would be ashamed if they barely listened to their drivers."

"Now I just hope that Seb can feel a better atmosphere with his new team. I'd love to see them appreciate his hard work."
