Scared

"Come on, Ace Hailey. Iuuwi na kita." Hinigit ako ni Sync papunta sa sasakyan niya.

I was struggling from his grip, that's why he got so annoyed. However, I didn't not expect him to carry me in a bridal way! What the hell?

"Ibaba mo ako, ano ba!" Patuloy ako sa pagwawala pero hinihigpitan niya lang mismo ang kapit sa akin. Nakakairita!

"You stay still, silly woman!" Napatigil ako sa pagwawala nang sumigaw na siya s ainis. He was so scary and intense that I even forgot to breathe. Parang kapag huminga ako ay mas lalo pa siyang magagalit.

I stayed still in that position until he successfully put me inside his car. Tahimik akong nakatingin sa kaniya habang inaayos niya ang seatbelt ng shotgun seat kung saan niya ako inilagay. I pursed my lips and looked away when his eyes lazily bore into me after fixing my seatbelt.

"You are so stubborn. I really don't know what to do with you." He shook his head in disbelief and closed the door. Nakasimangot akong pinanood siyang dumaan sa harap ng sasakyan niya papunta sa driver seat.

Umiwas ako ng tingin nang makapasok siya. I leaned against the backrest of the seat and crossed both my arms against my chest.

"What about my car then?" I asked him furiously. Tumingin ako sa kaniya at abala siya sa pagpapaandar ng sasakyan niya. "Dumb ass, I'm asking you paano ang kotse ko?" Inis kong untag nang hindi niya ako sinagot.

"Can you not shout? We're just inches away from each other! Your voice is annoying as hell!" My jaw dropped when he said that.

Sa sobrang inis ko ay kumuha ako ng throw pillow sa likod ng kotse niya at hinampas sa kaniya. Tangina, ang kapal ng mukhang sabihan ang boses ko ng annoying. Aba, kung nakakairita naman pala ako, ay mas nakakairita siya dahil napaka-bossy at walang modo niya.

"What the fuck? Ano ba?" Inis niya habang iniiiwas ang ulo sa mga hampas ko at ikino-cover ang dalawang braso sa sarili.

"Mas annoying as hell ka, you gago!" I shouted at him as I continued hitting him with the throw pillow.

However, he suddenly caught both of my wrists which made me stop what I was doing to him. His eyes were glaring at me, but it was so funny that I couldn't help but laugh so loud. And for some reason, I think this is the first I laughed so hard.

"Your face looks hilarious!" I said while laughing still.

Hawak hawak niya pa rin ang dalawang wrists ko at mukhang wala yatang balak bumitaw. Nanatili siyang nakatitig nang masama sa akin kaya natahimik ako bigla. Pinagtaasan ko siya ng kilay to hide the growing fear within me.

"You think this is funny?" He asked coldly which sent shivers down my spine. "It's not, okay? So, stop. Please.." Laglag panga akong tumunganga sa kaniya.

Marahan niyang binitawan ang mga kamay ko at pinaandar na ang sasakyan niya. We were so quiet for so many damn minutes and it's suffocating me already. Hindi ko alam kung magsasalita baa ko dahil natatakot akong mas lalo siyang magalit sa akin.

The expression he showed me just awhile back was very unfamiliar. That's the first time I saw him make such an expression. Halos sumabog ang puso ko habang tinitignan siya kanina.

I looked at him through my peripheral vision. I took my time to watch him if he's going to show expression like before. But before I even realize it, I was already staring at him for too long. I noticed how handsome he really was now that I was this close to him.

He has long eyelashes, and his eyes were almond shape. They hold so much intensity and mystery. Talagang matatakot ka kapag ganoong mga mata ang tumingin sa 'yo. Moreover, his disinterested eyes could also drown you into their deepest part as you stared at them.
