"Rose, hand me the...er, thingamajig. Um..what's it called? Channel hopper." I extend my arm for her to pass it to me. We'd finished breakfast and we're now sat watching TV. After visiting Mateo, the Time Lord hadn't been taking us on as many adventures, probably worried about my mental health.

"Why can't you get it?" Her eyebrows shot up.

"My tummy hurts."

Rose chuckled at my pout. "Wait, you're on your period and still did makeup? Wow...that's effort. You must really be trying to impress the Doctor."

My cheeks began to heat up. "No, I... I- Rosie! I always wear makeup and you know that."

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes.

Without warning, the TARDIS jolted violently. I grabbed my bag and legged it to the control room, Rose hot on my heels. "What the hell's going on?" I demanded.

"It's mauve." The Doctor told me as the TARDIS shuddered. Well, that's not good.

"Mauve?" My sister questioned.

"It's the universally recognised colour for danger." I explained while grabbing into the console for support.

"What happened to red?"

"That's just humans. By everyone else's standards, red's camp. Oh, the misunderstandings." At that comment, I snorted. "All those red alerts, all that dancing." He gestured to an object we were following, through the Time Vortex, on the monitor. "It's got a very basic flight computer - I've hacked in, slaved the TARDIS. Where it goes, we go."

"You've slaved the TARDIS? She's gonna be in a huff with you for ages." I raised my eyebrows when the Time Lord rolled his eyes at me.

"And how safe is it?" Rose asked.

"Totally." A part of the console exploded in that moment, as if she was trying to prove him wrong. "Okay, reasonably. Should have said reasonably there. Oh, no, no, no, no! It's jumping the tracks, getting away from us."

"What exactly is this thing?" I inquired while trying to figure out which buttons were the stabilisers. River told me about how he calls them the blue boringers but I didn't care. We needed them.

"No idea."

"Then why are we chasing it?" My little sister found it hard to believe.

"It's mauve and dangerous. And about 30 seconds from the centre of London." The Doctor responded.
