❝ minho, get ready, we're leaving for battle soon. ❞
sakura told him as she peaked by the door and he smiled at her before nodding, sakura left and minho placed on his suit and mask. he went out the changing room and walked towards where the others were when he sensed someone following him behind of the lone hallway.
"seo changbin."
he thought out.
"shit, now's not the time. i'll get in trouble if he recognizes me early."
he shut his eyes and prayed changbin would just leave him alone.

of course he won't because he could sense the younger getting closer towards him.
❝ i've noticed you hiding your identity since you guys came. ❞
changbin started in an intimidating tone but minho just kept on walking, clearly ignoring him.
❝ ah, i see, this is how it goes.... ❞
changbin muttered and minho dodged to the side before changbin could've kicked him.
minho started to block changbin's attacked and they made quite a commotion in the hallway, luckily it was just them.
"was changbin waiting for the moment i'd be alone so he'd follow me?"
minho thought out.

changbin swooped down and elbowed minho's ribs making the older wince and glare at him for being too harsh, well, then again, he's keeping his identity covered so changbin can hit him all he wants because he doesn't know. the younger was about to hit him again but minho grabbed his leg before he could kick him and he threw changbin aside for a moment. a silly smile played inside the mask minho wore, changbin saw that sly sparkle in the other's eyes and it made him smirk and attack again.

changbin dodged minho's attack and was able to ground minho from a controller he took out his pocket. the suit minho wore was basically quirk less after yoshi and asahi removed all installments so he basically felt the shock and it made him stop for a moment. he looked at changbin staring at him also panting.
"he's definitely gotten better than last year, i need to step up my game."
minho pouted, knowing changbin can stop his attacks now, he doesn't want to go all out yet because he doesn't want to hurt the younger but he's genuinely surprised (and scared) at how much changbin improved.

changbin went in again and minho thought he was about to get hit and he shut his eyes, waiting for an impact but his eyes opened again wide of shock, feeling changbin hugging him tight.
❝ i missed you, minho hyung..... ❞
changbin whispered and minho smiled, hugging him back.
❝ me too... ❞
he said and they pulled apart.
❝ what's with the mask and shit? we'll find out sooner or later anyway. ❞
changbin crossed his arms and minho sighed of frustration.

❝ just play by okay? i'll get in trouble if they found out someone already knew. ❞
minho said and changbin nodded before they parted ways.

❝ sir nakamoto, sorry to bother you, but we need help with the medical team before we go and- ❞
chan stopped as he glanced at minho who was behind yuta and the younger instantly panicked seeing chan staring at him. chan glanced at the necklace he wore and he hitched in a breath, he was about to walk towards him when yuta smiled and dragged chan to the medical room where they needed his help before chan could've gotten closer to minho.

minho let out a sigh of relief and sakura looked at him worried.
❝ this is killing me! ❞
minho complained making her giggle, they got in their own jet quickly before someone else recognizes minho and they took off to a separate island where the locations told them to go.

❝ minho, what weapons do you want to use? ❞
yuta asked and minho turned his attention from the window to him who was holding a tray of compacted weapons. minho's eyes lit up and he checked out the different weapons compressed into small cubes.
❝ how many can i- ❞

❝ you can only have two. ❞
yuta said and minho pouted.
❝ but yuta-saaaaaaaaan! ❞
minho whined like a child in japanese, yuta inhaled a breath and face palmed.
❝ fine! three! you can have three! ❞

minho grinned and chose a compressed umbrella gun when yuta stopped him.
❝ no not that, it's already reserved. ❞
minho groaned and chose the heart attack gun instead (a gun loaded with crushed cyanide toxin and when fired at high speed it would melt inside a person's body and trigger a heart attack, the dart will disappear as it melts and the toxin couldn't be detected in an autopsy. minho has always wanted to use one).
❝ is that a power increasing electro glove!? ❞
minho grinned and yuta nodded.

minho put the glove on and was about to power it up when yuta stopped him.
❝ not here you idiot! you're too excited! that thing can electrify this jet and we'll fall into the sea! ❞
yuta said and minho laughed.
❝ i've had quite the experience on that. ❞

❝ now choose your last one. ❞
yuta said unamused and minho smirked, picking out the technical belt filled with other gadgets and bombs.
❝ you've been played! ❞
he stuck out his tongue at the older and yuta rolled his eyes and walked away.
❝ just so you know, your pronunciation sounds terrible. ❞
yuta said.
❝ hey appreciate me a little more, i worked hard studying japanese just so i could flex on you. ❞
minho pouted.

they sighted the island below and followed skz's lead to fire up the defense system around the giant factory like area in the middle of the island.
❝ minho you're a guide, now do your thing. ❞
sakura called out and minho stood up from where he sat and looked at the camera recordings from the front of the jet.
❝ fire at that wall, get closer just until you can fire at it. there're a stock of bombs there, if we can trigger it we can wreck their defense system and make our way in. ❞
minho said and they swerved away from course to follow minho's guidance.

❝ where's that jet going? ❞
seungmin asked as chan drove one of skz's battle jets with changbin and felix inside with him. changbin stood up from his place and looked at the direction of the jet.
❝ follow that jet chan hyung. ❞
he said leaving chan confused.
❝ why? they're moving on their own when we were specifically told to follow the original plan. it's not like they have a guide with them or something. ❞
chan frowned making changbin freeze in his place.
❝ j-just follow them. they might be onto something. ❞

chan had helped the jet minho's at fire at the wall and the iron building collapsed, an explosion happened at where the building fell and it left a giant hole on the defense system of the enemy. most agents got off the jets and landed through the hole made, with chan walking towards yuta after what happened.
❝ how did you guys know about the stock of bombs behind the wall? ❞
chan asked and yuta smiled at him slyly.
❝ we have a guide with us. ❞
he said simply, catching chan off guard.
❝ oh.... ❞

minho ran with sakura and yuto to another pathway minho found towards the giant building where they kept the captures ones, while yuta and the other team tried to immobilize the enemy's defenses and fight them off to buy them some time. minho's necklace blinked and he held onto it.
"i'm here now jisung."

i'm actually updating this at 6 am without sleep (and eating the brownies i baked an hour ago while regretting my life decisions) bc storms always give me emotional breakdowns and i thought instead of crying the whole night of anxiety i should just write this chapter so here i am !! hello !! :DD

also i've written like four chapters (really thankful writing made me busy in a time like this cause honestly my breakdowns are getting annoying) so expect regular updates again bc i'm getting back into the inspiration of writing this book. i'm really trying to finish this without rushing or fucking up so yeah :DDD
