someone called out and minho turned around at the call of his name and he gasped, seeing soyeon smiling at him perfectly safe and alive. he ran towards her and she laughed as she caressed his head gently, eyes watering feeling minho trembling and crying on her shoulder.
❝ i thought you were gone..... ❞
minho said making soyeon laugh.
❝ this bad bitch can't be killed. ❞

seonghwa walked in and stood a good distance from them as he watch the two with a smile. minho glanced at him and ran to hug him too, seonghwa could feel his face heating up.
❝ stop, i might want you back if you keep flirting with me. ❞
seonghwa chuckled and minho laughed before flicking the older's forehead.
❝ i'm taken now, sorry. ❞
minho smiled.

❝ how's that jisung kid? ❞
soyeon asked while crossing her arms and minho frowned.
❝ still asleep, but he's alright, we just don't know when he'll wake up. ❞
he sighed and seonghwa patted his shoulder.
❝ the side effects of imperium serum lasts for a week at least, let's just hope his body can handle it or else he'd be in a state of coma for more than a month. ❞
seonghwa said making minho nod.

minho walked with seonghwa and soyeon towards the jets they previously owned. minho glanced at the jets before back at them who were preparing to leave. soyeon saw the upset look on the younger's eyes and she smiled a little before walking towards minho to ruffle his hair, making the younger force a smile.
❝ i'm sorry our reunion is cut short, but we have to take care of things back where we came from to make sure none of this will happen again. there are still survivors needed to be saved and data only we can find that's why the spy agencies didn't lock us up. i'll come visit you again soon minho. ❞
soyeon said and minho nodded, understanding the situation.

❝ try not to take over the world. ❞
minho joked and soyeon eyed him while seonghwa laughed.
❝ puhlease, we have the entire universe to take over anyway. ❞
soyeon rolled her eyes before walking towards her jet.

soyeon glanced at him from her jet window and waved a goodbye, seonghwa got into his jet and gave minho a little wink making the younger roll his eyes and waved goodbye to them as their jets lifted off from the ground and out jyp's agency.
minho sighed after seeing his two friends leave, half his heart empty and half of it full. he turned his back and walked back into the company to visit jisung.

minho smiled at seungmin who was watching over jisung for the meantime and thanked him before he left.
he sat beside jisung who was still sleeping peacefully, his cheeks puffing up like a baby squirrel that minho found so adorable.
he reached out to brush the strands of hair away from his eyes and sighed to himself wondering when they'd finally be with each other happily.

❝ i'm sorry jisung, you probably had a hard time..... ❞
he sighed and held the younger's hand, rubbing it a little for comfort with his thumb.
❝ but i'm here now. ❞
minho said trying to choke back his tears as he stared at jisung still sleeping, slowly becoming overwhelmed with emotions and passages he had to go through for the past year just to see him again. his hold on jisung tightened and he interlocked their hands together.
❝ so please wake up. ❞

minho jumped a little hearing the door open and the others peared through the door, unfortunately the door wasn't enough to fit six people all at once so they all stumbled in the room with chan yelling at them from the very bottom of where they all fell.
they all stood up and looked at minho with a smile.
❝ any news with jisung? ❞
chan asked while they all scattered to find their place in the room. minho shook his head and felix looked at jisung with crossed arms.
❝ you could always try true love's kiss, that works every time in disney movies. ji is enjoying his sleeping beauty moment too much. ❞
felix kicked jisung's bed a little causing seungmin to slap his arm.

❝ there's another injection that counters imperium serum, that's our last option, the doctor said jisung's body won't hold up the side effects for too long, he's too young to be injected with the serum in the first place. ❞
chan said, hyunjin and jeongin looked at each other for a split second before back at chan who eyed them.
❝ you're not talking about that injection left in that laboratory cabinet where they kept 265 leftover testing serums for different side effects in the island 5,782 kilometers off the pacific ocean where the first experiment was proposed and the place where the main scientist almost experimented with minho hyung right? ❞
jeongin blurted out.

chan looked at him confused.
❝ the doctor just said something about that kind of serum- how do you know all that? ❞
he asked and jeongin smirked.
❝ easy. i'm a full guide. ❞
jeongin swung his legs back and forth on the tall chair he sat.
❝ but it won't be easy to go there, they said the island was abandoned after the first experiment failed, but having all those materials, resources, experimented serums, data and tools, there's no way they'd let those go to waste. we can't attack that place either, that island is too far and hidden and there are traps and explosives set up when the scientists left to find a new base. hyunjin hyung and i can't go there either or else we'd end up like jisung hyung, i read somewhere that the atmosphere in that place was poisoned with a subject from imperium serum but the experiment didn't go well so half the place has poisoned air that can affect those who had been experimented in the past, that's one of the reasons why the scientists left the base, the failed ones would often be left in an area where the poisoned air was strong so they'd have them still under control until they finally get the experiment right but it came to the point there were too many needed to control and they all ended up killing themselves until the scientists ran out of subjects to experiment on. ❞

jeongin breathed in some air after that and stood up to get some chocolate milk from the fridge while the others stared at him in silence. the younger drank up all his chocolate milk before facing them again with arms crossed.
❝ well? my job is just to tell you the information and possibilities, the action is still up to you guys. but if jisung hyung really can't survive this within the week the serum still has weak effects then i might have to do it if i have to. ❞
jeongin said with a frown, glancing at jisung who laid on the bed. minho shook his head.
❝ you don't have to jeongin, i'll go, i'm not asking any of you guys to help if it's that dangerous- ❞

❝ the fuck are you saying? of course we're going with you, we're not losing any of us anymore. ❞
changbin told minho who looked at him with surprise.
❝ jeongin, how many are suitable to go? ❞
chan asked and the younger thought out for a moment.
❝ about three to five maximum. ❞
jeongin replied, chan looked at minho.
❝ jeongin and hyunjin can't go and there's gonna be five of us to fill in the maximum people, we're not taking any chances. ❞
chan said and they all nodded.

❝ hmmmm, two field agents, two techno agents, and a half field half shitty guide, that's not too bad. minho hyung, you can't fuck up this time, the team will depend on you. ❞
jeongin told him and minho pinched the younger's cheeks with half love and half irritation.
