Do you ever feel the need to lie and sneak out of your house in the middle of the night? Well, I've been a really really good daughter but I had no choice but to lie and I only did it because they wont allow me to have fun. This party is a once in a year party where almost all students are present. All the exams are basically done and the break is about to start.

"Ava?!" I shh-d Dana because her voice is just too loud. "Bakit ka nandito? Pinayagan ka ba ni Ate?"

I was about to open my mouth when I saw my Kuya Gavin. Unfortunately, he saw me too. He left the couch he's sitting and went straight to me.

"What are you doing here?" He looked at me before looking at Dana. He gave Dana THE look.

"Not me! I swear I don't know why! I did not do anything."

"Kuya." His gaze returned to me.

"Ava, lahat tayo mapapagalitan kapag nalaman nila Tatay ito." I know, pero ngayon lang naman ito at wala akong balak na sabihin sa kanila.

"I know. But can I stay for a few minutes? Please?" I used my eyes to make paawa. But Kuya Gavin is just like Nanay kaya hindi umepekto.

He got his phone from his pocket and started typing. I swear to God, my heartbeat raced when he called someone.

"Ady, Ava is here." He called Kuya Adam. I'm silently praying that Kuya Adam will rescue me and talk to Kuya Gavin about me staying for a few minutes. "We're here at the porch. We'll go home in a minute."

"Dana stay with Ava."

"Kuya." He did not bother looking at me. He walked towards his friends to say his farewell. He even pointed at me and I saw his friends na mukhang naintindihan kung bakit kailangang umuwi nila Kuya.

I saw a spark of hope when I saw Kuya Adam. He skipped his friends and walked straight to Kuya Gavin. They started talking and after a few minutes he moved his gaze on me and smiled.

Lumapit silang dalawa ni Kuya Gavin saakin. "Just a few minutes to talk to her friends then we'll go home. Understand, Ava?"

I saw some of my girl friends. They were shocked to see me. I'm not allowed to any nightouts and sleepovers.

Lumapit sila at nakipagbeso saakin. I have a large circle of friends at hindi na ako nagulat na kumpleto sila ngayon. My friends love parties at kasama doon lagi si Dana.

"Only a few minutes, though." Dana said.

"Bummer. But atleast you're here." Stacey held my hand at pinaupo ako sa sofa na inuupuan nila. They handed me a beer but I refused.

Dana, Stacy and Kimberly are all in the same couch as me and they started talking really loud. I guess the alcohol is now doing wonders in their body.

Not long enough, I saw my brothers walking toward us. I guess my time with my friends is over.

"Heading home?" I looked at Lucas and nodded.

"Bye, Ava." I smiled at Lucas and waved.

We started walking towards the front door.

"Hindi ka isusumbong ni Gavin. But if you sneak out again, I'm telling Tatay so you will be grounded. You don't like having bodyguards right, Ava?" Napanguso ako. Ngayon lang ako nag disobey ng rules nila Nanay at Tatay at nakakainis na nahuli pa ako.

The drive home was quiet. Kuya Gavin is serious on the steering wheel, Kuya Adam is in the pasenger seat with eyes closed and Dana is looking outside the window.

When we arrived home, we were quiet not to wake up our parents. My parents knew about my Kuyas going out kaya kung makita man nila kami ay ako lang talaga ang mapapagalitan. As Lola always says, Nanay and Dana is so much alike. They may have different face features but Dana is still like Nanay when Nanay was young.

And Lola says that I look like Nanay. That's why we almost have the same name. She's Adaleine and I'm Ava Gabriellie.
