Always and Forever

Chapter 49:

"Okay, so you all know how we'll take the Polyjuice potion?" We all nodded and Lupin continued talking, "You will all go to school like normal and once the potion is done then we will all meet here. It will take a little while to find all the ingredients so I'm glad we have a few months. I'm hoping to meet on a weekend, maybe one when the other students have gone to Hogsmeade. Skye, when's your due date?" My head shot up. "Uh March 17th."

Just then something tapped on the window. We all turned our heads and it was an owl, the Malfoy Family owl. Draco got up and opened the window. He held his arm out and the owl jumped on. He took the note off the owls foot and opened it. He walked over to the table and Molly put a bowl of water and food on the table. The owl gladly jumped on the table and began eating. He began reading it out loud.

Dear Draco,

I'm hoping you get this, William (the owl) was very glad to hear he could see you. Voldemort has decided to wait until after Skye has had the babies. He has assumed that her due date is in March so he'll be waiting until April to attack. Please be careful and don't send me any owls. Send William home but no notes. I had to sneak away to write this. I love you, stay safe.

"Okay, we have enough time to make the Polyjuice potion and Skye would have had enough time to heal from giving birth." I smiled and looked at Molly. "Would you be able to help me through it? Like give me advice on how to be a mother?" She got up and come over to me. "Of course sweetheart!" I got up and hugged her.

--Time Skip--

Today we go back to school, and I'm kind of scared. Nobody knows I'm pregnant, and today I'm finally showing my bump at school. I was shaken awake by Draco, "Time to get up." I opened my eyes and groaned. "Good Morning beautiful."

"Good Morning." He came to my side of the bed and I put my hands up. He grabbed them and helped me up. I walked in the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I used the bathroom and Draco walked in. He brushed his teeth and when he was done his grabbed both our toothbrushes. I didn't even bother brushing my hair and put it in a bun. Draco helped me slip my pants and I pulled them up, I also put on a long sleeved, green maternity shirt.

I looked in the bathroom mirror and Draco came up behind me. He put his hands on my shoulders and kissed my head. "Don't stress about showing people your bump, you look amazing." We heard a knock on the door and he walked away. He opened it and I heard Harry, "Hey, I was wondering if I could talk to Skye." I walked out the bathroom and to the front door. "Come in, it's freezing out there."

He came in and Draco smiled, "I'll be at the house. I love you." He grabbed our trunks and I kissed him on the cheek, "I love you more." He left and I shut the door. I sat on the bed next to Harry and he looked down. "Gonna answer my question now?" I asked and he laughed. "I do think you are worth saving. When we had first met you were in a dark place. You didn't eat, you didn't talk, you listened to music all day."

He rubbed the back of his neck, "And then you started acting out. You got in trouble all the time, you would push people around, sneak out at night, and you just acted completely reckless. And I know that's not the girl that you're meant to be. I've seen you with Malfoy these past few months. You're happy. You smile, there's a light in your eyes that has never been there, and you walk with a hop in your step." He looks at me and smiles.

"I may not have saved you, and you may not be completely out of that dark place yet, but we can both agree on one thing." I looked at him confused. "What's that?"

"Draco saved you. I know it, you know it, and everyone in that house knows it."
