Always and Forever

Chapter 58:

SKYE'S POV:

After Harry left Draco came sit on the bed next to me. He laid Claire in his lap and I gave him a plate of food. I laid Atlas in my lap and began eating. He then started crying so I put my plate down and picked him up, "When was the last time they ate?" I asked looking at the clock. "We woke up around 3:20 so maybe 3:30?" It was now 6:45, so that means it had been maybe 3 or 4 hours since they ate.

"Okay, we need to feed them again." I grabbed the bag on the side of the bed and put it on the side of me. I grabbed Atlas and Claire's bottles and went to the bathroom. I rinsed them out then sat down. I poured in water and baby formula and shook them. I gave one to Draco, and he took it from me, putting his plate of food down and grabbed Claire. "Why don't you just breast feed them?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"They might not want it." He looked at Claire and then back at me. "You'll never know if you don't try it." I sighed and put Atlas's bottle down. I didn't have a bra on so I lifted up my shirt and held him to my chest. He started sucking and it felt weird. "Well he likes it, we'll try with Claire next time." I smiled and Atlas continued breastfeeding. He pulled away from me and I guessed he was done. I put my shirt down and burped him.

"Don't forget to burp her. We forgot last night, but we need to do it after they eat." He nodded his head and continued feeding Claire. Once she finished her bottle he put it on his side table and burped her. Seeing him be so happy and gentle with her made my heart happy.

—TIME SKIP—

It's been about 3 weeks since I gave birth and all is going well. Me and Draco spend all of our time with the babies, considering I can't go to any classes still and Draco refuses to leave them. I've been able to go down to breakfast, lunch and dinner but I've been staying in my room. Today was the first day I decided to go. "Can I take Claire?" Draco asked and I sighed. "You always take her, but yes you can. Are you ever gonna let me hold her?"

I laughed and he looked as though he didn't take it as a joke, "I'm kidding baby, but sometimes I would like to hold her." I changed Claire and I gave her to him. He held her in his arms and a big smile instantly plastered across is face. I changed Atlas and picked him up. I had dressed them in onesies that had little snakes on them, and it had "Slytherin" in big words on the front.

I had put on some jeans and a shirt, and Draco wore what he usually does, all black. I grabbed their bottles, that I had already made, and we walked down into the common room. Blaise walked up to me. I kept walking and he called my name. I turned around, "Yes?" He came up to me and smiled. "I just wanted to see him, Draco is always carrying Claire when he comes down. I wanted to see the other."

"Well, now you see him. I need to go, I need to eat." I walked out of the common room and Draco was by my side, "That was kinda harsh. He just wanted to see him." I looked at him with big eyes, I stopped walking and so did he. "Are you trying to tell me that I was being too rude to the guy that raped me, called me a slut, and put me through hell? Cause if you are then you need to rethink what you just said."

"Skye, I didn't mean it like that. You know I would never defend him or anything, he's just curious."
