He's been missing our book reading sessions in the library, I don't even get a single word from him. What's happening?
We were alright back at the train station and now he's acting like he doesn't even know me at all

When I saw him earlier I gave him a small wave but he just walked past me. I sighed and went back to working on my leviosa spell. My next class was flying so I figured if be knackered after the activity and wouldn't have the energy to practice

"Hey, sorry for disturbing your privacy but class is about to start. wanna walk with me?"

"Yes-of course. Thank you for telling me" I kindly accepted Senan's offer to walk with me to class

"You seem to be upset about something," he said out of the blue

"I am? Oh-pfft I'm fine"
Recalling what I just said I realized that was truly a horrible liar

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"I..."
I looked him in the eyes and couldn't help but feel my sadness once again. If he's willing to help me maybe I should let him

"I would like that, thank you. It's just that these past few days Tom has been ignoring me completely"

"Oh..."

"Whenever I approach him, he would just walk away or not respond at all!"

"That's quite odd of him"

"Yeah...I guess he is acting odd, isn't he? I don't understand how he could just throw away the bond we had"

"Well-this might sound ridiculous but, what if he only used you before he could get the fame he needed. I mean look at him now, all the girls love him. My brother thinks he's cute! Slughorn praises him like some type of God!"

I refused to believe that Tom would just use me but that's the only answer I have for now and maybe a part of me will stick to it

"You have a point..."

"Don't be depressed about him (Y/n). You have me and Marin! You'll forget about it in no time"

"Thanks"
I said before taking his hand. Unlike last time he wasn't uncomfortable anymore. We walked towards the field to meet up with Marin and my other classmates. When I saw Abraxas I instantly felt horrible just by laying my eyes on him. He saw me and boy was he excited to see me, he looked like a kid in a candy store, a kid that was given a present and that present was none other than me

"Well look what we have here! A Slytherin and a Hufflepuff holding hands. You really are a disgrace to our house"

"Leave them alone Abraxas"
Marin popped out of nowhere

"Ah! Well if it isn't the red-headed rubbish. Come to join the show, Griffin?"

"She's not rubbish, you are!"
Senan yelled. Malfoy scoffed before pulling Senan's necklace off his neck

"And what about you Walsh? I bet your father thought it would be fancy to give you this rotting necklace. Pathetic"

"Hey, g-give it back!"

"Hey g-give it back"
Malfoy mocked Senan. He sat on his broom and levitated from the sky

"If you want it so bad, why don't you get it?" He laughed and flew away.
Senan picked up his broom only to be stopped by me

"No, I'll do it. Stay right here"
I took my broom and flew to the sky. I saw Tom with his expressionless face but I knew very well with his body language that he was already calling me an idiot
