TW: MURDER

When we woke up in the morning, I immediately left after breakfast. It felt awkward with Clay there.

Monday was very interesting though. I met with Schlatt. He wanted to talk to me.

"What was that about on Friday?"

"What do you mean." I played dumb.

"You and Darryl. I saw you guys kissing in the hall."

"What are you going to do? Tell my parents?"

He shook his head. "You won't be in big trouble if I do."

"Is that way you told Darryl's parents?! Because you knew he would get hurt? You're insane."

He smirked. "I don't care about Darryl. But you, you act so tough. I just want to see you fall, Zak. I figured your weakness was Darryl. Darryl's weakness was his parents."

I couldn't believe him. We were just teenagers. He was a grown man wanting to watch me "fall". "You're sick. Fuck you."

He laughed. I left his office after that.

Today was Friday. I planned on getting rid of Schlatt today. I had the alcohol ready. The day was regular routine.

Meet Vincent in the morning. Talk to the idots. They had a sleepover on Saturday. They were bragging about it to me, saying I should've been there. I was with Darryl, Clay, and George at the time, so I wasn't jealous.

Class after class. Today was the first day of me doing computer science without Darryl. I did it by myself last Tuesday, but I knew he would come back.

His notebook had a list of ideas. His handwriting was neat and small. I got some stuff done for our game. I made our first animal. It was supposed to be a pig but it turned out to something else. I called it a 'creeper'.

At lunch I sat with the Idots, Vincent, and a boy named Harvey. I heard Clay and Sam talk about Darryl from the other table.

"Did you ever go on that date with Darryl on Friday?"

Sam scoffed. "No. George, can I come to your house? He stood me up! I want pay back."

"Woah. He was at my house on Friday. There's probably a reason he stood you up." George said defending Darryl.

"What's the reason then?" Sam asked gritting her teeth.

"He needed to move in that day. Plus, I think he just got in a relationship."

"Just got in a relationship? When he knew we had a date?" Sam said angrily. "Who is he in a relationship with? I want to talk to her!"

Clay laughed. I minded my own business after that.

After school, I snuck into Schlatt's office. I poured the strongest alcohol I could find into his coffee. It was Spirytus Vodka. It was made up of 95% alcohol.

I asked my uncle to buy for me. I told him it was for a party. He was always the "wild" type and encouraged me to throw parties. He gave me multiple bottles, but told me to be careful with it and mix it with juice.

I knew mixing caffeine and alcohol can be deadly, but that was one of the benefits of doing it. I mixed lots of it Schlatt's coffee. Then I sat down at a chair and waited for him to come. I hoped he didn't leave yet.

After a few minutes of waiting, Schlatt came in. "Oh, Zak! What a pleasant surprise. What brings you here." He sat down.

"Well I just came here to apologize. For cussing at you." He sipped his coffee and nodded. I smiled knowing what would happen next.

He scrunched his nose. "This coffee isn't good." He pored the remainder of the coffee in a trash can. Earlier, I prepared a water bottle and filled it with more of the alcohol to offer him if he ever felt like he needed it.

I grabbed it from my backpack. "Here, want some water? I haven't drank any yet."

He took it and started drinking it. He drank half of the bottle. "This water is disgusting." He started hitting his head. "My head is killing me! I feel so dizzy."

At that, he had passed out. I went to a nearby window, and threw him out of it. He was heavy, but I was able to threw him in a nearby alleyway that was empty and had a few dumpsters in it. It was pretty hidden, so that was a good location. We were on the second floor so it was quite a long drop.

I heard a loud thud and a few cracks. I knew he landed. I got my backpack and walked to reception. I talked to the receptionist. "Schlatt's staying late tonight. He said you can leave early today."

She nodded and started cleaning her area. Eventually, she left. I walked downstairs and then to the alleyway. I saw his body. It was bloodied up.

I smiled and took out a small lighter from my backpack. He looked unconscious which made my job a lot easier. Less fun, but easier.

I lit a piece of paper on fire and threw it on top of Schaltt. The fire connected to his body, starting burning him. I added some more pieces of flamed paper to make the burning faster.

I laughed as I watched his body burn. The process was a lot slower than I expected. I decided to text Darryl's during this. I told him about my day and how I missed him. I told him about how Sam was not happy.

Sam seemed to upset him. I wondered if I should kill Sam or not. She was my sister but she tried taking Darryl from me and now she was making Darryl uncomfortable.

Soon all that was left of the body were ashes. I threw some of the ashes away, but kept the rest. I kept them I got a small capsule and stored the ashes in them. I wrote the date on it. It was October 29. I put a 'S' to stand for Schlatt.

I stored it in my backpack and went home, putting the capsule on my shelf.
