I was sitting in the living room. My hand was intertwined with Leo's. An hour ago I was cutting a cake for the first time with my brothers. And now I was sitting on the couch holding my brother's hand for dear life after surviving an attack. From whom? I still don't know. I was so shaken that I haven't spoken a word yet. I didn't wanted to ask them anything. From what I could hear Anna was coming to check my wounds. And she did arrived after a few minutes.
"The wound on her forehead is just an aversion. I'll just clean it and put a bandage. The neck wound is a laceration. Its deep but not enough to puncture a vein or artery. I'll bandage it. Just avoid swift movements. It can tear up the skin. No stitches required."
She cleaned my wounds with a swab and bandaged me up. She gave me some painkiller to help me sleep.
"I will take your leave now."
"I'll drop you. It's late." Hayden said in a cold tone.
"Its not-"
"I will drop you." He said in a very stern tone. Anna agreed and they left. Leo was still holding my hand. Then he started leaving.
"No please don't go. Dont leave me please. Please."
"Okay okay relax shhh... I'm here. I'm not leaving you. I just need to make sure of something. I'll be back in no time."
Alex looked at me with concerned eyes. He quickly came towards me and hugged me.

And as if on instinct I started crying. He tried comforting me. Telling me it has passed. But I wasn't having it.
"I dont want to be alone. Please."
"No one's leaving you alone. I'm here with you."
I was exhausted but I was scared that I would be taken away. Alex somehow sensed it. Nate came near us.
"I'll get you some warm milk. It will help you sleep better." Nate said in a soothing tone. And caressed my hair.
"How about you sleep with the twins tonight? They can keep you company till you fall asleep. Hmm?" Alex knew that I didn't want to be alone but he didn't said it out loud. But I didn't need any reasons for sleeping with Silas and Seb. I would happily oblige. I slowly nodded my head. In any other situation Alex would ask me for a verbal response but he and I both knew I wasn't in the state.
I had the milk. We all had skipped dinner. The milk and pain killers both helped as I was feeling a bit drowsy now. We made our way to Silas's room. Seb brought me my toothbrush and PJs as I didn't wanted to go back in there. I brushed my teeth and changed my clothes which had my blood on it. I made my way to the bed. Soon I was in the middle of my brothers. Silas was holding my hand while Seb was running his fingers through my hair to help me sleep. I knew I was safe and that they wouldn't let anything happen to me. And then I fell into a deep slumber.
