Back at the Hyoudo household.

Rias: ......

Akeno: something bothering you Rias?

Rias: I found out what Issei was turning into. It's a hollow.

Irina: the thing that Hades talked about?

Asia: it's a long story. You guys need to take a seat.

They all sit down and began listening to Asia explain what hollows are. They had the chills and had cold sweat on their foreheads.

Xenovia: you know about it?

Asia: yes, so does Koneko, we found out right after the match and before that we......

Kiba: what?

Koneko: Issei has only 8 years to live....

Gasper, Irina, Xenovia, Akeno and Kiba felt a jolt go through them.

Gasper: but....he had a century after the juggernaut drive....how....

Koneko: hollows consume souls and life force of those who have even the slight amount of spiritual awareness, such as humans who can see ghosts, feel their presence etc. Issei like us has a lot of that since he's a devil and dragon. If it wasn't for that dragon side of his then he would be dead or a out of control hollow.....which would make the reapers come for him....

After a minute of silence, Rias spoke.

Rias: You know... Issei continues to help some of us despite how distant he is...

Xenovia: how so?

Rias: just look at Gasper, he helped him become quite the badass. I could tell he was really proud of you Gasper.

Gasper: he was?

Rias: yeah, when he was proud of you when you started to use your abilities, he would have that smirk on his face and he would tilt his head a bit. He did that after you beat your opponent in the rating game.

Gasper smiled.

Rias: and Koneko started to talk more and more. None of us could help her but he somehow got her to be more open.

Koneko: .......

Koneko's bangs covered her eyes and frowned.

Asia: what's wrong?

Koneko: I can't help him, I never could.....

Irina: regarding?

Koneko: his life force recovery.....my sage arts we're not good enough, it was never working. I suggested bedroom arts but he straight up refused because he doesn't want me to give my first time to him out of necessity. I tried to convince him but he made up his mind.

(Rias: just like how he refused me before he met Riser,).

Akeno: it... didn't work at all?

Koneko: it was actually making the inner hollow take over as it absorbed my sage magic. I saw it happen myself.

Irina: how did you guys find out about him only having 8 years left?

Rias looked down and cried silently.

Koneko: there was an argument among us just before the final match and he let it slip out.

Asia: he also said that he doesn't love Rias anymore.

Rias: I don't believe that!

They all stare at her.

Rias: Irina, Asia and Koneko, you guys heard what he exclaimed during the fight. He still loves us, he's still in love with me as I am with him. Who else would he be talking about when he said that he won't let Sairorg hurt the woman he loves?
