The power Astrid began to feel became a drug as the day went on. Over the centuries, Niklaus and Astrid Mikaelson were names that drew fear into the hearts of even the toughest men for even in bloodshed, their chemistry and loyalty to eachother was undeniable. Also as the day went on, Nik began to remember more and more why he knew Astrid was the one for him, they were twin flames. Haven grown up both outcasts, the pair found comfort in eachother.

By the time they were 14 and 15, they were inseparable, Astrid would follow him out into the forest on their adventures. The laughter of young teenagers would echo throughout the forest most summer days and in the winter, they would both have a seat at the table in their families home. Even when Mikael was feeling particularly brash and violent, he wouldn't go to his brothers for he would already be outside Astrid's door, her mother welcoming him with open arms and a warm smile.

Astrid had triggered her werewolf gene, and Nik was there through it all. Consoling her when the nights became dark, and allowing her to embrace her true nature. This angered Mikael immensely and as the 'boy' grew into a man, the Viking father only grew more irritable - he believed Nik should focus more on being a soldier then being wrapped up in a village girl. Esther was overjoyed and often told her husband to leave them be.

The trio stood outside of Rosseau's bar listening in to the plan they set up flowing smoothly. Astrid smirked at Nik and grabbed his hand as she heard Kieran question the Faction, 'I thought you called this meeting?' and beckoned Marcel to begin, he walked in and waved at the group, 'Hello again' he smiled menacingly and waited for the other two. Astrid grabbed Nik and planted a hungry kiss on his lips before winking at him and sauntering in.

'It was infact I that called this meeting' her smile matched Marcel's and she walked towards Kieran, 'Hello Father K' she hummed. 'Astrid what is the meaning of this?'

'I think Nik can inform everyone'

'Thank you darling. You see when this meeting was called, Marcel and my wife here-' The Mayor cut him off and sneered at Astrid in shock, 'I knew it you disgu-'

Astrid vamped over to him, grabbed him shoulders and pushed him back into his seat, 'Mhm.. see! Told you I never liked you.'

'Do carry on Nik, I'll apologise on behalf of this pompous twat'

'As I was saying, they advised me against such a brash approach and I failed to heed this advice, I clearly made a mistake.' Klaus feigned forgiveness. 'Well it's good to see you've learned your lesson' The Mayor spoke up again and Astrid dug her nails into his shoulders, making him wince in pain.

'Well you never let me finish Mr Mayor,' Klaus smiled at his nickname and Astrid laughed at Nik, a grin so wide that it made the King's heart race. 'You see, with that show of aggression you put on earlier, both of my counterparts here seemed to see sense'

With that, Marcel vamped over to one of the officials and took a pen off of the table before jamming it into their neck with such force that a fountain of blood spouted from their vein. The humans jumped out of their skin and started screaming like pigs to the slaughter before Astrid beckoned them all to be quiet. She leaned down to come eye level with the faction, her hands still clasped in the Mayor's shoulders, before she spoke again.

'You see, my husband made me realise that there's only one way to take out the rodents of New Orleans' she hummed in the Mayor's ear as his shaky voice replied, 'How's that?'

'You exterminate them'

The humans looked around again, fear laced in their eyes as Astrid looked up at her boys. 'Shall we?' Marcel smiled and Klaus looked at Astrid, 'Ladies first'
