'Come on, love. You're alright.'
Astrid helped Klaus stand to his feet. 'I'm gonna.. kill her' he grunted as he stood, Astrid letting him go when he seemed stable. 'We should go back to the Compound, Nik. Check on 'Lijah' she looked at the door as she spoke and he nodded his head, the pair making it out onto the street, entirely unaware of Elijah's state.
The Mikaelson Compound.
'No. No, no, no, no, no.'
The Compound was eerily quiet, the only noise being the bloody fountain as Marcel ran in - werewolf toxin running through his veins.
'No, no, no, no, no!' He dropped next to a fallen friend to see him laced with werewolf bites, realising that Genevieve was successful in the creation of the stones. 'Marcel. I'm sorry.' A poisoned Diego limped into the courtyard, Marcel catching him as fell to the ground.
'Oh my god, Marcel! I've been trying to find someone, anyone! Where--what's happening?' Cami ran in panic stricken and flustered. Marcel grabbed her shoulders, 'You gotta get outta here. My guys have been bitten by wolves. They'll get sick, and then blood-crazy.'
'We need to find Klaus. His blood can heal you.'
'MARCEL! WHERE IS SHE?' Elijah came marching in, fuelled with rage as he threw a chair, 'Where's Hayley?'
Cami stood between the two, 'He doesn't have her! Please! I know you don't trust him, but you know I wouldn't lie. He doesn't have her.'
'Someone does' He paused, walking over to Marcel, 'Where is my brother? And my sister in law?'
'I left them in the street. She was gonna kill me. And then he got jacked up by some witch's spell and she stopped to help him'.
'Genevieve.' Elijah growled.
St Ann's
'Get her down on the floor!' Genevieve instructed the witches that had a hold of a screaming Hayley.
'We should take her to the City of the Dead' Monique Deveraux tried to take control of the situation but Genevieve was having none of it.
'We won't make it, the baby is coming now.'
'No! It's too soon! Ahhhhhh!' Hayley writhed in their arms, screaming in the hopes someone could help her. 'Apparently not.'
'The plan was to induce her when the sacrifice was ready!'
'I had to subdue her, and the trauma caused a placental abruption. So, the baby is coming, and we'll just have to adapt' Genevieve explained quite plainly.
'AHHH! LET ME GO!'
'You need to be calm, Hayley.' Genevieve knew what she was doing.
Hayley's tone changed entirely, to one of sheer and utter fear, 'Why are you doing this to me?'
'To be reborn, you must sacrifice.' Monique looked her in the eyes for the first time and Hayley freaked out even more, 'What does that mean, you psychotic little bitch?'
'The ancestors demand an offering in exchange for power.'
'You and your child will be a fine offering.'
'No! NO! You will not take my baby, I will kill ALL OF YOU!'
'No, you won't! And neither will Klaus, or Elijah or even Astrid. When your baby is born, we will offer her up to those who came before us.'
Hayley shook her head repeatedly with wide eyes, writhing and struggling against the restraints.
'I'm sorry, Hayley, but this is the way it had to be.' Genevieve hoisted her onto the altar.
