Five years ago
It was the first day when Yangyang met Hyejin. Even if he knew she existed he never saw her due to him being busy and Mr.Lee not allowing her only daughter to get into trouble. But once Mr&Mrs. Lee passed away WayV had to go to China and protect Hyejin.
That's when he first saw her. A beautiful girl with long hair that was long till her waist and big eyes with a small nose. After a few months of living with them, Hyejin grew close with all of them. They became like a family. She slowly learned Chinese and English. Yangyang, Xiaojun, Hendery all went to the same school but Xiaojun and Hendery graduated early.
When they had missions she stays alone and he'd always be worried but one day when they came back from the mission Hyejin was really happy and when they asked what happened she said her friend Jiong-Min happened to like her back and they started dating.
That's when all the members were shocked and the day when Yangyang first experienced heartbreak. But they were taught not to get their feeling and emotions get in the way. That's why he beared the pain
Present
It was a school day again, Hyejin was excited to meet her friends Yura and Yohan they all studied business but Yohan was their senior. Wearing a large white sweater with tight black jeans she tied her hair up
Grabbing her bag she went downstairs to see her uncle Taemin, he softly smiled at her "Good morning Hyejin-ah" she greeted him with a bow
She went to open the shelf and took out a bowl and a cereal, opening the fridge she took out the milk and poured it into the bowl
Slowly eating she felt uncomfortable since her uncle was looking at her, he seemed to notice it "Don't worry I won't bite so eat well and I'll drive you to school"
She quickly finished the cereal since she didn't want to make her uncle keep waiting, putting the bowl into the sink she followed her uncle to the garage to his car
"How is school? Do you like it?" he asked trying to break the awkward atmosphere "At first I loved it but now it's kind of annoying but it's fine"
He smiled at her cuteness, she really resembles her mother he thought. Arriving at their destination Taemin gave Hyejin pocket money "No it's ok I have money" shaking his head he gave the money to her
"I wanted to give you pocket money so you can buy your favorite food or whatever, think of it as a birthday gift I couldn't give you for years" he said, she still couldn't accept it but since she was getting late she accepted it and got out of the car
Running to her class she sat next to Yohan panting "Girl did you run in a marathon or something?" he asked giving the panting girl water
"I thought I'd get late so I ran here but I guess I'm speed" Yohan chuckled at her statement "Hey what happened to Yura" looking at where Yura's sitting she frowned
Did the confession not go well? From what she knows Yangyang isn't the type to make someone sad, he's an actual sweetheart "I think the confession didn't go well, I'll talk to her after the lecture" she said
Yohan nodded taking out his notes to prepare for the class. After the lecture, she packed her things and was getting ready to go to her math class with Yura
Getting out of the class she ran to Yura to catch up with her "Hey Yura are you ok?" Yura didn't reply and went into the class, Hyejin found it weird no matter what happens to her she never ignores Hyejin
Soon the lunchtime came and she went to the cafeteria to catch up with the boys, Yura then approached the table where all of them were sitting "Hyejin can I talk to you?"
Hyejin was happy since Yura was ignoring her the whole day, she nodded and told the boys to order her miso soup then went out of the cafeteria and followed Yura to the rooftop
"Why are you doing this to me?" Yura asked making Hyejin confused "Do what?" Yura scoffed at Hyejin acting clueless when she knows the truth "Why are you getting on mine and Yangyang's way?"
Yura took a step closer to Hyejin making her take a step back "If it weren't for you we could have been happy" she said taking more steps by now Hyejin's lower back hit the fence
Yura was really furious angry, her emotions took over her and she didn't know what she was doing so she pushed Hyejin from the rooftop Hyejin screamed and she held onto the small part of the building.
People who were outside of the school were beyond shocked and everyone gathered outside. One of Jeno's classmates noticed that it was Hyejin gripping the small part he ran to the cafeteria
The boys were confused to see the boy they have never seen before except Jeno "Hey Jihoon what's up?" Jeno asked the boy while handing him water
Jihoon pushed the bottle away and answered "H-Hyejin your sister is about to f-fall from the rooftop" he said panting that made everyone stand up and run to the rooftop
Renjun was the first one to arrive so he pushed Yura away and pulled Hyejin up soon Jaemin helped him. Yangyang entered the rooftop to see Yura on the ground so he went to her
"What the hell happened?" he shouted making the girl flinch "She was getting on our way, we could be happy without her" she answered earning a slap from him
"Girl or not doesn't matter when it comes to protecting Hyejin we can do anything we want" Shotaro and Sungchan came in with the police and took the girl out while Jaemin and Renjun were pulling the girl up
Yangyang immediately hugged her when she was pulled up saying it was his fault that she was about to die Haechan called Jungwoo and Jaehyun and told them to dress up and come to their school in an instant
Chenle was waiting for them at the school gates while the rest of them were at the principal's office "Where are her family members?" the police questioned the principal
"How many times do I have to tell you, kid? You're not old enough to take care of this" Sungchan scoffed, the police will regret saying this to a gang member
Just when he was about to throw hands Jaehyun and Jungwoo came in "I'm her father" he answered, the police looked at him and didn't believe him since he looked quite young
So Jaehyun took out his fake id and showed the police, soon Yura's parents came "Ma'am as you can see your daughter was about to push her friend off from a rooftop so we're arresting her for attempted murder"
Yura's parents had nothing to say, how can they defend her when there is so much evidence and she almost killed her friend so they nodded and let the police take her away
Since Jungwoo was playing the role of Hyejin's mom Yura's mom approached her "Ma'am I'd like to apologize for my daughter's behavior she committed a crime that can never be forgiven"
Being overprotective and sarcastic he scoffed "Do you think apologizing would be enough? My daughter almost died" he said. It was supposed to be a serious situation but Chenle lost it when Jungwoo started talking in a feminine voice
But he didn't laugh loud so he quickly went out of the room going to where the rest were. "Here drink this" Jeno handed Hyejin water and a calming pill
After the talk with the principal and the parents, Jaehyun and Jungwoo came out of the principal's office. The kids following them behind they got inside the van while Jisung and Hyejin took the car Jaehyun drove earlier
As soon as they got inside Jungwoo took off his wig and Jaehyun exploded "What the fuck happened?" he shouted making all of them flinch
Haechan decided to explain what happened while Jungwoo was driving. After the explanation, Jaehyun got angrier and Yangyang was feeling really guilty
But Haechan comforted him by rubbing his thighs, once they got home they were greeted by angry Taeyong, Kun, and Ten "Explain" all of them said in unison
They all explained about everything and they were angry but since Hyejin is fine they nodded their heads and Taeyong told Jaehyun to take care of the police
