Thor, Loki, Bella and Lavinia stood in front of a nursing home called Shady Acres. All four of them wore modern outfits. Thor's hammer was disguised as an umbrella. They watched as workers destroyed the building. They watched in silence until Bella spoke.
"Have you ever heard the phrase, 'Dead man tell no tale'?" Bella asked Lavinia. Lavinia looked at her in confusion.
"No", Lavinia said.
"It's a phrase that the pirates used before they killed someone. It meant once dead, you couldn't tell anyone anything. I mean, it does shut them up. The point is, the murder of ye olde Allfather was caused because the killer didn't want him to say anything",Bella explained. She looked at Loki. "Killer, do you have something to say?"
"I swear I left him right here". Was all Loki could say. Bella looked around. Some people noticed her.
"It's so weird being in public", Bella said. "Okay, well, did you leave him here, where we're standing or where that building is being destroyed?"
"I can't see into the future like you. I'm not a witch", Loki said.
"Neither am I, Sunny".
Bella saw two people looking at her. "What, do you have a problem? Keep on walking!" Bella snapped. The two people walked away.
"Being on the run did make you more angry", Lavinia said.
"If I ever get my job back, remind me to wear a corny mask or something", Bella said.
"What do you mean if you get your job back?" Thor asked.
"A lot has changed", Bella said.
"Bella, he needs to know", Lavinia said.
"The Avengers split up. Now half of us are criminals. The other half sided with government lowlifes...and Ross, the guy who despises me because of Dad. Lavinia chose Tony's side, the government side. I chose Steve, the outlaw side. And Zephrine was a double agent. She pretended to side with the government and the Accords, but she was with Steve and I", Bella explained.
"Me and Bella got into a fight. Literally. Words we didn't mean, were said. Bella got arrested and tortured. We didn't talk until she came to Asgard a year later", Lavinia explained.
Thor and Loki looked at Bella and Lavinia. "Tortured?" Loki asked. Loki touched Bella's shoulder. She saw her memories of being in a cell.
"Bella", Loki said.
"I'm fine", Bella lied.
"You're not. Bella-" Lavinia started.
"I'm fine", Bella says, raising her voice. Her eyes glow a bright green. She closed her eyes. "I don't want to talk about it so please don't let me relive that moment".
Two girls walked towards them. "Ask him", One of them said.
"Hi. Would you mind taking a picture with us?" The other one asked.
"Oh sure", Thor said. Loki and Bella rolled their eyes. "Start figuring out where he is".
Bella walked towards the collapsed building. Thor and the two fangirls took a picture.
"Sorry to hear that Jane dumped you",One of the girls said. Lavinia raised an eyebrow at them. The girls walked away.
"She didn't dump me, you know. I dumped her. It was a mutual dumping", Thor said.
"You really think we believe that?"Lavinia asked. "I didn't like her anyways. Bella might say something different. They were close".
They all realized Bella wasn't standing next to them. They saw her standing next to the building. "Bella!" Lavinia shouted. Bella looked at them. "What the hell are you doing?"
"You said look for him. I'm looking",Bella said in a snappy tone.
"Bella, get out of there. He's not in there", Lavinia said.
"Then it was suicide", Bella said as she walked towards them.
"What kind of detective are you?"
"The kind that has figured out that you're using an illusion. Have something to tell us?"
Lavinia sighed. "I didn't know how to tell you guys", Lavinia said. The Illusion disappeared. Lavinia's stomach was bigger than before. "I'm pregnant".
Thor, Loki and Bella looked at her in silence. "You're what?" Loki asked.
"I'm gonna Aunt. I'm gonna be an Auntie! Everyone, I'm gonna be an Aunt", Bella said happily.
"Bella, stop", Lavinia said with a smile. Lavinia pulled the illusion back over herself.
"Do I get a niece or a nephew?" Bella asked.
"It's a boy", Lavinia said. Bella's smile grew bigger. Her smile faded when she saw the orange circle surround Loki.
"Dad, what are you doing?" Bella asked.
"This isn't me", Loki said before he fell through a portal, leaving a note behind.
"Loki?" Thor asked as he pokes the letter with his umbrella.
Lavinia rolled her eyes. She grabbed note. "Bleecker Street. Do any of you know that address?" Lavinia asked.
"Yes", Bella said. "I saw it in a dream. Doctor Strange and his apprentice, Peyton, they're expecting me anyways. Let's go".
