YOU COULD FEEL YOUR WORLD AS IT crashes down around you, you look from Theo back to Draco. His eyes were cold, unfamiliar. They weren't the same eyes that knew you inside and out.

You turn to Theo again. "No! No, it... it can't be. Why would they do that to him?"

"It was a punishment... a punishment for both of you. For betraying Voldemort." Hermione answers you. You hadn't realised she'd caught up to you and was now comforting you, rubbing your back. "But, Bec I need to speak with yo-"

You couldn't even hear what she was saying, all you could think about was that the love of your life no longer recognised you. "No, Draco... yo-you remember me. You know who I am, yo-you love me! Please, I need you! You could never forget me, you couldn't forget us, right? You've said yourself, our love is too strong."

You walk towards him, reaching for his hand and placing it on your cheek. You stare into his eyes, willing him to remember. His thumb doesn't rub backwards and forwards on your cheek the way it used to, instead you feel the rings on his fingers glide against your skin as he pulls away from you.

"I'm sorry, they... they keep saying that we were together? But... I don't know who you are. Or, at least, I don't remember who you are." He takes a few steps backwards.

"No, Draco, wait!" You head after him, but he raises his hand up to stop you.

"I-I've got to go. I'm sorry." He bites his bottom lip as he turns and walks away from you, leaving you standing alone in the centre of the Great Hall, with everyone staring at you. You feel the tears begin to trickle down your face as you look around at all the staring eyes.

"Enjoy the show everyone?!" You look around the room, pointing your wand at anyone who comes near you. "You all got what you wanted, for the most part." Your eyes glance to the likes of Seamus Finnegan, Hermione, anyone who had always hated Draco. "So you can fuck off back to your own boring lives, the lot of you!" You start walking backwards out of the hall, continuing to hold your wand up as you see Hermione cast a spell which revives Blaise and Lux. Your back hits one of the doors as you turn around and exit, beginning to hurry down the empty halls that had been left destroyed from the war. There were professors down one of the corridors, raising their wands, beginning to repair the castle.

"Bec, wait!"

"Hermione, I don't want to talk right now!"

"Fine, then you can just listen! This is important!" She shouts at you, making you stop in your tracks and turn around to face her.

"What? What is it that is so important it couldn't wait?!"

You see as she clenches her jaw. "Listen, Bec. We've all been through a lot these past few months."

You look away from her, feeling a pang of guilt for being so selfish. You see Lux exit the Great Hall, looking around until she spots you and Hermione, then begins walking towards you.

"I wanted to let you know that it's all over. Harry, he... he defeated Voldemort." You look up to her eyes, you'd gathered as much from the atmosphere in the Great Hall. "Did you know you were the master of the Elder wand?"

"I...I found out about it. After you were all at the manor."

She nods her head. "There's something else, it's about Malfoy." Hermione continues.

"Draco? What about him? What else could possibly have happened?"

"I was there when they used the memory charm on him. I tried to stop it from happening, but I didn't get there in time. I'm so sorry."
