The crackling of lightning and thunder boomed ominously outside as you and speedwagon stood hidden in the shadows of the joestar mansion. A tense silence filled the air until Jonathan set down his candelabra and told Dio "I tracked down the antidote. Father had it moments ago....Dio this pains me greatly. For years you were my brother and now I have the recourse to turn you in, I'm sorry really. I'm sure you don't believe a word I'm saying but it's the truth". While he did this Dio sat down in the chair beside the table, you could almost immediately that something was up but decided to wait until your chance to cut in.
"Even now you show compassion" Dio said in a sorrowful tone that you called bullshit on, "jojo....I've been a devil but grant me this one wish. Allow me to do the right thing for once in my life and turn myself in!" He continued making Jonathan look at him in shock. "This is complete bullshit" you whispered to Speedwagon who nodded, "Definitely, I've seen enough liars In my day to see right through his facade" he mumbled making you nod. While Jonathan looked on shocked you noticed Dio move his bandages arm around, you didn't notice he even had it before but you guessed he probably just got it before arrive back here.
"My wicked deeds naw at me!!. The poverty I knew as a child ate away at my moral compass until greed was all that remained!. I'm the lowest of the low! Your father took me in off the streets and I repaid him with poison...the only reason I came back was to surrender myself! If I wanted to flee you would've never laid eyes on me again!" Dio sobbed pulling out his pity card, it seemed to work on Jonathan since he mumbled " I see your point" while the blond reached into his bandaged arm. "Allow me to make amends" Dio said still pulling off his sad sob act before speedwagon interrupted by lighting a match to reveal the two of you.
"Look alive master joestar, he's trying to lure you in. Right about now your probably wondering who I am, allow me to elucidate ya. The names Robert E.O Speedwagon" he announced before blowing out the match, you stood beside him still silently looking on before giving a small wave at the shocked Dio. "I had the hunch Jonathan's run of trouble might not be done so I came with him back home" Speedwagon explained before you added "I just appeared back here again so I went with them". "I think this is better than any crime drama I've binged since quarantine" you mumbled before Starboy appeared behind you to nod, your stand also seemed fixated on Dio's cast/sling.
"I like you Jonathan so I'm gonna Offer up a little tid bit probono. Living in the gutter you learn to spot low lights pretty quick if you want to see tomorrow and I've strained my nose to sit out the bad ones from the good with just a sniff" speedwagon explained as Dio shook in his seat, seat began to build up on him making you take a slightly defensive stance. At any moment he could act out like a cornered dog meaning you had no idea what cards he had up his sleeve, "this fella reeks of brimstone and blood worse than anyone I've laid eyes on!" He yelled before the candelabra was sent flying past DIO's now unfazed face.
