"May I entrust the mission to you Rengoku?" (Y/n) asked, her (e/c) eye staring into his orangey-yellow owl-like eyes.
"Yes! You can trust me to get it done (Y/n)-sama!" Rengoku said with his booming voice. (Y/n) nodded indicating he may leave and get ready.
Once (Y/n) was gone, "Going on a mission Rengoku-San?" Rengoku turned around to see the Insect Pillar.
"Yes, Kocho-San! I'll be heading to a train, many Slayers have gone missing!" Rengoku smiled.
"Well I wish you luck on your mission Rengoku-San, may you return safely." Shinobu nodded her head. Rengoku gave one more smile before taking his leave.
With the Kamaboko Squad
"WHOA! LOOK AT THE MIGHTY BEAST!" Inosuke yelled looking at the train.
"It's a train," Zenitsu said looking at him like an idiot.
"You're wrong Inosuke!" Tanjiro said.
"At least Tanjiro knows what a-
"It's the master of the land!" Tanjiro said, crushing all of the hope Zenitsu had for him.
"OH GOD NOT HIM TOO!" Zenitsu internally yelled.
"It's a train, you know? Like a locomotive?" Zenitsu tried to explain. "You all are a bunch of city bumpkins."
"HAH!" Inosuke yelled, he then ran at the train.
"YOU IDIOT STOP THAT!" Zenitsu yelled, trying to stop Inosuke from attacking a train.
"Hey, they have swords!" Someone said pointing at them.
This only made Zenitsu panic more, "HEY STOP RIGHT THERE!" A policeman yelled.
Zenitsu then picked up both Tanjiro and Inosuke, "YOU IDIOTS!"
Once he set them down, "ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS?!?! THE DEMON SLAYER CORP ISNT AUTHORIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT! WE CAN'T GO AROUND WALKING FREELY WITH OUR SWORDS AND ATTACKING TRAINS! YEAH, THAT'S WHAT THIS IS A TRAIN! T-R-A-I-N TRAIN!" Zenitsu yelled on a rampage. He was panting by the time he was done yelling at them. "Now stay here so I can get out tickets."
Once he came back, "Now we have to hide out swords. Tuck them behind your haori." Tanjiro and Zenitsu had no issue but Inosuke...
"Hah!" Inosuke posed, his swords sticking out, due to him not wearing a shirt.
"YOU IDIOTIC BOAR PUT ON A SHIRT!" Zenitsu yelled.
On train
Rengoku heard all the yelling, but chose to ignore it and enjoy his 20 bento boxes.
"UMAI!" Rengoku yelled after every bite. This caught the attention of every passenger near him, but since he was so loud, it was practically the entire train.
That's when the Kamaboko Squad got in the train, "So you said we have to find the Flame Hashira?" Zenitsu asked.
Tanjiro nodded, and walked deeper into the train.
"WE'RE IN THE BELLY OF THE BEAST! WE MUST GUT IT NOW!" Inosuke yelled. Zenitsu looked at him in utter disappointment.
"UMAI!" The Flame Pillar yelled again. This caught the attention of the trio, making them look in his direction.
"Is that the Pillar? He's more like a glutton." Zenitsu whispered to Tanjiro. But Tanjiro ignored him and walked to the Pillar.
"Are you the Flame Pillar?" Tanjiro asked Rengoku.
"UMAI!" He yelled again.
Tanjiro sweatdropped, "A-are you the Flame Pillar?" He asked again.
"YES I AM!" Rengoku yelled with his booming voice. "Who are you?"
"I'm Kamado Tanjiro, this is Agatsuma Zenitsu and Hashibara Inosuke!" Tanjiro smiled, unfazed by the fact that the Flame Pillar didn't remember him.
"I'm Rengoku Kyojuro, the Flame Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corp!" Rengoku smiled brightly like the sun.
"THE TRAIN IS MOVING SO FAST! LETS RACE!" Inosuke yelled trying to jump out the window.
"STOP IT YOU IDIOT!" Zenitsu yelled, prying the boar headed boy back in the train.
Then the trio then sat down with the Flame Pillar, "Excuse me Rengoku-San... have you ever heard of the Hinokami Kagura?"
This caught the attention of the Flame Pillar, "Nope!" He said smiling, before going back to eating.
Tanjiro sweatdropped, "W-well my father taught it to me when I was young. I-I managed to use it to fight Lower Moon 5 Rui."
"Nope! Still never heard of it! Though it is impressive that you learned to use this Hinokami Kagura in battle!" Rengoku praised. "Now enough of that subject!" Rengoku said going back to eating.
"When are we arriving at the destination?" Zenitsu asked.
"The demon is showing up on the train!" Rengoku smiled.
Zenitsu then paled, "THE DEMON IS SHOWING UP ON THE TRAIN?!?!"
"Yep!" Rengoku said nonchalantly. This only made Zenitsu pale more. "But I'll take you all under my wing and make you my tsugukos! And make you stronger!"
"Thank you Rengoku-San!" Tanjiro said gratefully.
A man then walked up to their booth, somewhat staggering, "May I please have your tickets?" The conductor asked. Rengoku sensed something was wrong, especially someone sitting in the booth a little ways away from them...
Then a demon appeared, making Rengoku draw his Katana, "Please ignore the sword! For this is an emergency!"
"Total Concentration Flame Breathing, First Form, Unknowing Fire!" Rengoku rushed and proceeded to decapitate the demon easily.
Tanjiro noticed how the figure had gotten up, and was clutching something... but after the demon was decapitated they sat down.
"Who is that?" Tanjiro asked himself. But was snapped out of his thoughts by the conductor taking his ticket.
A few moments later all of the slayer started to feel tired, before drifting to sleep. Tanjiro we leaned against Rengoku, while Zenitsu had his head in Inosuke's lap.
Little did they know...
One person didn't fall asleep.
