(Y/n) turned around and saw the trio of idiots. Exactly the people she didn't want to see, as a matter of fact she was hoping she wouldn't run into anyone. But the world hates her and these three showed up.
"Hello." (Y/n) said flatly. Though the trio wasn't fazed by it and walked up to them. They tried to ignore the burning jealousy they felt seeing Kiriya in the arms of (Y/n).
"Hi (Y/n)!" Makomo said cheerfully.
"What are you doing with Ubuyashiki-sama?" Giyu chimed.
"I'm teaching him something." (Y/n) said shortly. She was hoping that if she gave short answers they'll leave her alone, but what can she expect from these three idiots?
"What are you teaching him?" Sabito asked.
"How to use a sword." (Y/n) answered bluntly. They all nodded their heads wondering why (Y/n) would go out of her way to teach him.
"Can we help?" Makomo asked. (Y/n) honestly didn't care so she just shrugged and walked away with Kiriya.
The trio started walking alongside (Y/n), and they knew they would have to start the conversation. This is because it was clear (Y/n) wasn't going to start the conversation so they had to.
But before they could say anything they arrived at the huge mansion. The trio marveled at the size of the house, for it was about 5x bigger than the other pillars estates. Granted they had to share the water estate among the three of them, just like the twins had to share the mist estate.
"Let's get started." (Y/n) said breaking the unbearable silence. She set Kiriya down, and went to grab stuff.
When she came back she was holding 4 wooden katanas.
"The trio and I will spar first so you can see what you will eventually build up to." (Y/n) said.
"Though I'm not sure you'll be able to..." (Y/n) thought. (Y/n) didn't usually lie, though in this case she didn't really know if it counted as lying or not.
Kiriya nodded excited to see them spar, for he'd never seen the pillars spar before.
(Y/n) tossed them the wooden katanas and drew her own fake katana.
"Don't hold back, give it everything you've got." (Y/n) chimed. They all nodded silently and got into their battle positions.
"Ready... go." As soon as (Y/n) said that all four of the pillars had vanished from where they were standing. Kiriya couldn't find them for about a minute, till he heard a cracking noise. The pillar appeared in the middle of the courtyard, with Makomo's katana broken into small pieces, while (Y/n)'s was still intact. The other 2 water pillars were also going in for another attack.
Few second before
"Ready...go."
(Y/n) knew all of their fighting styles for she'd memorized each of the three idiots styles when she trained them.
So as soon as a it started she pretended that Makomo was overwhelming her, but as soon as she saw the opening, she struck. Though since Makomo had improved she managed to shield herself with her katana. This resulted in it shattering with how much force (Y/n) has put into the swing.
"Sugoi..." Kiriya muttered in total admiration. But the fight wasn't over, the other two pillars lunged in for an attack against the Wisteria Pillar. But (Y/n) backflipped over the two incoming pillars and jabbed them in the back with her katana. They just staggered but got ready to attack again.
The both took in deep breaths, "Total Concentration Water Breathing, 1st form, Water Surface Slice." (Y/n) leaned back just in time for their katanas to almost skim her face. (Y/n) refrained from using her breaths, for she saw no need to use them.
But as soon as they got ready to use another breath, (Y/n) was done playing around. She used her speed to go behind the distracted hashira and karate chopped below their ears. Ultimately knocking them out, declaring (Y/n) the winner.
Kiriya was in total shock, he was now even more determined to get stronger.
Eventually 2 of the water pillars woke up, for Makomo had been eliminated after her katana shattered.
(Y/n) was about to tally to Kiriya when...
"CAW CAW (L/N) (Y/N), SABITO, AND MAKOMO. HEAD TO UROKODAKI'S HOUSE!!!" (Y/n)'s crow called out. (Y/n) wondered why she was getting a called there of all places but shrugged it off. She then turned back to where Kiriya was standing.
"I'm sorry Kiriya but I'll have to teach you another time." (Y/n) said with no emotion in her voice. This made Kiriya wonder if she really was sorry or not.
"Okay..." Kiriya said not bothering to hide his disappointed tone. But (Y/n) merely picked him up bridal style and started walking down the mountain.
At Ubuyashiki household
(Y/n) set Kiriya down, "Goodbye Kiriya." (Y/n) said semi-formally.
Kiriya all of a sudden pulled (Y/n) into a hug, (Y/n)'s eyes widening not expecting it. She was a bit tense a first but soon relaxed.
Then she felt... something pocking her inner thigh...
"Kiriya do you have something in your pocket?" (Y/n) asked.
"Oh yeah I have chopsticks in my pocket!" Kiriya said. (Y/n) felt relief flood in her veins, but not for long...
"What did you think it was?" Kiriya said with a small smirk.
*poof*
(Y/n) was gone.
Okay so the next chapter will have a timeskip to when Tanjiro has passed final selection! I'm sorry but I want to get the storyline started!
