Kaylee's POV
I had just finished tending a patient, when Razer burst in, his face full of alarm.
"Razer?" I asked.
"It's Kyle," he said. "He literally punched his fist into the window."
"What? Why?" I asked, astonished.
"I'm not sure," Razer replied, we just found him on the ground, clutching his fist, and saying something that Meeps translated to go fuck a porcupine.
"Can you bring him in here?" I asked, and Razer nodded.
A moment later, Kyle walked in, gritting his teeth.
I started to take the glass shards out while asking him questions.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah," Kyle replied, grimacing.
"Can you tell me how you broke the window of your room?" I asked.
Kyle hesitated. "I slipped," he said. "And my fist accidentally smashed into the window."
"Are you sure that's what really happened?" I asked as I took the last piece of glass out and began to bandage his hand.
Kyle nodded.
"You're absolutely sure?" I asked for a final time, knowing that he was lying.
"I'm sure," he replied. "Thanks,"
Then he got up and walked away.
