Their Missing Piece (BTS x OC Poly)

Prologue

Jung Kimura woke up on a Tuesday morning to her favorite kind of weather, cloudy with not a hint of sunlight peaking through.

"Ahh, today is going to be a great day!" she said out loud to herself.

She had to go to a photo shoot for her parents cosmetics company, Jung Cosmetics Co. and then she was free to enjoy the rest of the beautiful overcast day.

Kimura got out of bed, stretched her muscles, and proceeded with her morning routine. There was no need for her to put any makeup on, they would do that when she arrives at the photo shoot for JCC. Her best friend, Choi Violet, was a makeup artist for JCC and Kiki absolutely loved working with her.

Kiki was grateful that her parents, Jung Yeonjun and Jung Nora, wanted her to be the face of their company. Even though she has a masters degree in business and a bachelors degree in linguistics, she really loves modeling and is so thankful she gets to pursue her passion with the support of her family.

Kiki ate a small breakfast and drank some green tea before heading off to the photo shoot. Usually she eats a lot of food but she develops a tiny bit of self control before photo shoots so she doesn't get bloated. Her family always makes sure to stock their pantries when they know she's coming over because the woman could probably eat an entire cow in one sitting if she wanted to. She'll definitely be eating a huge lunch after the photo shoot.

Oh! It's Violet's turn to buy lunch. This is sooo going to be a great day! she thought as she drives to JCC with a smirk on her face.

Violet and her always take turns buying lunch and luckily for Kiki, she bought lunch last week so today Violet has to treat her to whatever she wants. Last week Violet made Kiki take her to a fancy restaurant and got the most expensive thing on the menu so today is payback time.

Her spirits rose even higher when a song from her favorite K-Pop group came on the radio, Spring Day by BTS. She pulled into a parking spot and decided to film a video of her singing Spring Day to post on her social media accounts. Her followers always liked it when she posted covers but this is her first time posting a song sung in Korean because most of her followers are American.

Hopefully I have some ARMYs in my fan base! she thought as she posted her video online.

Kim Namjoon was scrolling through BTS hashtags on Instagram while they were taking a break from dance practice when he stumbled upon the most amazing cover he thought he'd ever heard.

Wow, she sounds like an angel.

"Hyung, come listen to this cover an ARMY posted on Instagram!" Namjoon said to Seokjin.

Jin came over to watch and was immediately mesmerized.

"Who is she?" Jin asked.

"Her name is Jung Kimura and I think we need to reach out to see if she'd be willing to collaborate with us," said Namjoon.

"We should repost her video so other ARMYs can hear this wonderful cover," Jin suggested.
