The divorce

Chapter 12

Tears streamed from my eyes as I heard that I was granted a divorce . I was going to be a free woman now,  " you took a massive step of starting  a new like Katrina , and that will make other women like you to wake  up and find themselves in this unfair cruel world. " I heard my mom telling me and my ssiter patting my back as Leonardo was looking at the divorce documents . The final checking .

You need to meet your soon to be ex husband tomorrow for signing and finalising the divorce,  I am so excited to see you again roaming in the house with your night gown everyday my darling..my mom teased me and everyone started laughing .

I laughed embarrassed , " Mom stop it !! " No, I have been waiting for you for so long ... she didn't  finish the words as she passed for a moment and looked at her fingers.

Well there we go again   she is going to start crying again and making a huge drama , " Mom, please not now !!" I tell her with a whisper.

Why shouldn't  I? You are my baby little girl , and everytime I think about you going to that stupid centre of the army, " my heart aches"

I love you all equally  and now after divorce,  then it comes this ... " Can't  I change your mind ? Even a little bit ?"

I smiled and shaked my head . " I sure did raise a stubborn rat !! She spat and unknowingly Leonardo was also listening and he  broke the silence by  laughing.  " mom!" I pouted and hugged her  and wiped her tears.

" you are ruining your make up , " I tried distracting her ,

Oh, lord that was close ..We heard Leonardo murmuring  and I and my sister  laughed ." Do your fucking damn work Leonardo, don't  you fucking try to listen the words of wisdoms which I have been busy telling my dearest daughter,  I have to be  careful with you ,  you always steal my lines when I talk and sell them to your sisters and friends  ."  " hmmpf" she preached  the words like a flowing river making us all go silent and as usual Leonardo to save the day by breaking the silence moment and laughing like a crazy monkey.

Mom  please stop it !! I am having a  stomach ache .. Leonardo told her while he had his hand on his stomach still laughing.  " Do I look like a toilet to you  now ?" You pig ...

Mom ,no !! Ummm.. sorry ..I mean you are so funny  !! Leo whispred and she blushed . " oh my god !! Anna exclaimed and we both burst out laughing once again .
She takes complements in only crazy stuffs .

Let's go home ..she suddenly announced  and we all walked out exhausted from the court . " We walked outside and we saw some of the paparazzi  still there, I was busy finding the familiar face of to be my ex husband.  " He has alredy left, Anna whispered on my ear "

Huh!! I look at her and after I realised what she was talking about , I just averted my gaze on the ground and kept on walking silently  leaving the paparazzi  taking the pictures . " how I hate them "

We entered in the car and soon we were on our way at home Leonardo driving us all. It was very silent in the car , Mom sat at the front seat and I and Anna sat on the back seat .

Can I give you a little fun in your life? " what are you talking about ? Mom suddenly asks him with a frown .

Check this out !! He exclaimed and soon he switched on the radio of the car , music fuming up into our eardrums ,

" leonardo" we both shouted at him and he went still like a rod and hold the sterling like he depended on it  . Umm ..I..sorry!! He gave us a cheeky smile not before mom giving him an evil glare with a snack on his head .

Mom, he is driving ..Anna says with a small smile. This price deserves it, " he can't  stay a minute without disturbing any of our nerves "  she explained not before she smacker him again on his chest playfully  ,

I and Anna giggled .

Soon we reached at home , " I am cooking " Leonardo announced . Take your  ass to your fucking room.ans get off on those dirt ass clothes right now !! We don't  want to catch Leonardo's crazy disease  mind do we ? Mom shouted at him and usual we ended up laughing  going to our rooms .

" I love my family " I reached in my room , I took a bath and walked inside my wardrobe and took my oajams and walked downstairs. 

Good that you are all here , let's go out!!I heard mom's  voice , " Where to ?" I aka after insaw Leonardo dressed up into his causal jeans and shirt, he looked so cute , and Anna into a simple little dress and mom into pants and a crop top  with a coat , She looked cute  .
And well i .. I was wearing pajamas i mean it is evening already "

What the hell are you wearing ? Mom asks scrunching her face , I look at my attire up and down, i  then look at her with a toothy grin.  " you are weird, but it's  about to change " Leonardo said from afar .

Both of you shut up and let's  go out , " mom says sternly making us all go quite, But mom ..I..I..haven't  changed I am in my pyjamas.  "

It doesn't  matter , no one is going to judge you !! You are my daughter and you can wear whatever  you fucking want !! " Come "

Okay ! She tried hard not to shout ... I went to her and followed her as she linked my fingers with hers,  " Aye !! Anna hold your brothers arm ! We are bonding as a family, when we are going to be back i will be holding yours and Leonardo's and Katrina will be holding his brother too . " what are you talking about mom ?" Anna and leo asks ,

You heard me now do it,  I hate repeating myself and I giggled. " my  mom's  crazy!"

We sat on the car , Leonardo complaining .. " okay !! I am going to drive mom announced , "what !?" We both exclaimed .

She didn't  leave a room for any of us to speak as she entered in the driving seat and put her handbag on the back seat where I and Anna were sitting nd Leonardo on her side .

" jesus !! Please make us reach on our destination peacefully and with no harm " Leonardo prayed .

Yea ..it's  good dedicating yourself to jesus and prayers is the answer to your problems , mom says ... unknowingly that we were all tensed up , anxiety kept on pumping in our veins seeing her on the drive seat .

She started the car and  started driving, in a few  she asked leo .. " is there any music in here ? Looks so shady and damn boring ! "

Leo couldn't  believe his eyes and looked at her !!  What happened ? " Turn on the music " She tells him with a shrug  .

I and Anna couldn't  hold it anymore and we started laughing, soon a soft  80s music started playing  in the car .
I wasn't thrilled  of this oldie music .. " Do you think like I am too old to listen to the new mldern music ?"

I am going to pull over right now !! If you don't change the music ." Mom we are in the middle of the road !! And this is all what we can get in here ..."

Watch me !! Mom threatened and we all yelled with fright .. " mom, mom no !! People are still driving .. now change the music , she looked at leo with a cheeky smile and he did it.

He likes messing up with mom's  nerves so much and mom is one crazy woman who you will never want to by pass her in a minute of your life.  " I love her and  we both do though"

We are here !! She announced and we all walked out . My jaw dropped when I saw what have been planned by my family .

" A divorce Party!?"
