Katrina

It was a long day today . My neck is in pain  , and top of all I am over the moon .

Totally worth it,

I was accepted in the millitary and the training programs are starting after a few days,

Yay...

Are we done yet,? I ask mom for the thousand time ,

Not yet ! Sign  here and here. ..

She kept on telling me while I followed after reading  pages of conducts , policies and bla bla bla ...

Ah laws ..!!

Done , she says and took the papers on her hands checking them  for the fifty time ,

"You can go .." she chirped and carried on with her work like nothing happened ,

Shaking my head I took my purse and give her my goodbye in which she stayed silent like I did not exist and shooed me off .

"Such a caring mother ... "I scoffed under my breath and banged her door to irritate her. 

I walked to the familiar walls of my brother and saw him on the phone , all confident and strictly professional talking making me giggle .

My brother is a sexy piece ...

I closed his door  silently and walked to his table silently.

He frowned when he saw me and then cut the call after another minute of talking,

I am telling you, i would have went crazy if I were to be a lawyer . Some people aren't just good into that sector ,

One of them it's me ,

And what the hell are you doing here, ?

Smiling,I replied i came to see you ,Is that wrong or am I not allowed to come and see my brother on his office , ?

Nop , I didn't mean that way .. i meant to ask how are your here, ?You don't like this place at all, 

" Alright mom called , "

He laughed lightly and asked ,

Did she threaten you,. ?

Ah .. nop ! I mean a little yea .. I had to come here as soon as possible. 

But I am done , do you want to go out with me , ? I begged giving him my puppy eyes .

Not working sis ... I have tonnes of works and it's all becuase of you and mom,

Ughh !! . How I love her so much !! He gritted out making me burst into a fit of laughter .

"Don't tell me you are tired , ?"

Nop i am not ,he replied Instantly and rearranged himself  and cleared his throat  

" What happe... "

And what the hell are you doing here , ?I heard a familiar voice of mom ..

Well busted !! 

Looking back, I gave her a little smile and replied, I just came here to check on him .

Pointimg a Finger on Leonardo, I seem a little dramatic but atleast this can save me from her wrath ,

Does he look sick to you, ? Did he tell you that he wanted an audience in his office , ? For goodness sake get the hell out of here right now Katrina before I call on the guards to take you out . 

Daughter or not ! This is a working place and you better leave .. you have seen him at home. HE IS PERFECTLY IN SHAPE !

Isn't that enough , ?she asks breathless while I winced with every word .

I ..I am sorry ,i tell her stopping myself from laughing and walked out ,

I couldn't take it anymore as I started laughing ,she is a scary woman and at the same time crazy .

"Calling security guards on me , ?" She must have drank alot when I walked out from her office .

She can be a bit confusing but that's all .

I walked out of their hall and walked to some of the employees quatres ,

Mrs... You are back ,oh congratulations ..

Oh you looked so pretty today ,

And bla bla .. 

The employees kept on telling me whenever I pass through them , can't that stop .. ? I don't want to be praised about anything .

Especially after I couldn't save my pathetic marriage , 

Stop thinking about that.. my subconscious says to me and I remembered that I had to be positive about everything and to not think of all the corny shit past that I had.

It's all behind .

I started driving with the Intention of losing the negativity that I had in me  ,

I took a long drive , leaving all my mirorrs open so that all the negative energy to drown off from within me,

Feeling the cold air passing through the windows of my cars .. I relaxed and breathe in feeling all of my other parts relax to the cold air ,

It felt good , comfortable and relaxing at the same time  .

After a few minutes more , I looked at the driveway and saw that I was the only one there ..  chuckling.

I started to drive back to a park that I have seen a few minutes ago ,

I locked the door of my car and sat on a nearest chair that was just beside a big tree  , it was peaceful and there isn't alot of people who are here today  enjoying the blissful air.

It was in the afternoon, and the sun was shining brightly ... A small smile tugged on my face as I watch each  every thing ahead of me ,

It felt different ,becuase Damon was not here with me and he has been mostly controlling everything that I did ,

Hello miss ,  a woman came to me ,

Clearing my throat with a small smile I replied with  a small hello,

So you usually come here , ?she asked with a smile and looked Infront

Not really .. it's my first ,

Oh I come here every now and then,she says making me smile  a little ,

And how does it feel , ?

Peace .. she whisperes enough for me to hear , I feel the same too,

I am Laura , she introduces herself . And i am Katrina ,

Such a beautiful name Laura ,I complimented after a long silence ,

Thank you, she replies with a  Sigh .

She checked her watch and bid me a good bye after few minutes claiming that she is meeting up with some one ,

Nodding my head I kept on sitting there until I couldn't anymore.

Walking to my car , I saw a young couple who were on the car , they were down driving through the same driveway that I have been an hour ago ,

Sweet .. I didn't realise I spat it out venomously,

oh, you shouldn't be spiteful .Just becuase you once dreamt of you and your wretched husband doing the same doesn't mean others shouldn't , my inner me scolded .

I just couldn't keep up with the sight, Shaking my head I started driving on my way home silently.

I know I am strong, but sometimes the small sweet things have a lot of triggers than the bigger ones ,

Dreams are always dreams ... A happy marriage can never happen if two of you are not perfect in any way ..

Maybe that's what made us part ..

Only perfect people make it work .

Shutting my mouth , I drove home with a lump on my throat .

Lord help me ,
