The battle against the Female Titan was unsuccessful, Y/N and Eren were in critical condition, and the Female Titan escaped their grasp. The government had a plan to capture the main suspect of the killings of Section Commander Hange's test subjects: Sawney and Beane, preventing future Titan knowledge; she was also suspected of being the Female Titan, although she was an MP, that suspect was Annie Leonhardt. Armin Arlert and Mikasa Ackerman were to guard Y/N and Eren, while Annie, as an MP, would lead them away from the walls. In reality, they planned to capture Annie in a tunnel leading to an ancient underground city where Commander Erwin and the Scouts would capture Annie alive.
Y/N: It looks like the government isn't as skilled as they say they are.
Mikasa: Quiet down. We don't know if someone is listening.
Annie starts to look around, somewhat confused.
Y/N: You ok?
Annie: Yeah, I'm fine.
Armin: Thanks for coming with us, Annie.
Annie: No problem.
Eren: I still don't think Annie is the Female Titan; I mean, that's absurd!
Once they arrive in a tunnel, Annie halts.
Y/N: What's wrong, Annie?
Annie: Something is odd.
Mikasa: What do you mean?
Annie: No one's here.
Armin: In Stohess?
Annie: Not a single person.
The wind blew everyone's hair, causing Armin to panic internally.
Eren: Come on, Annie.
Annie: I'm not coming.

Eren: Why's that?
Eren started to growl.
Y/N: Eren.
Eren starts to calm down.
Annie: You want me to go in.
Y/N gasps.

Mikasa takes out ODM blades.
Mikasa: I'm killing this bitch.

Annie starts to laugh maniacally.

Armin: So it was you? The whole time?
Annie: So what? No one is stopping me.
Annie reaches for her hand when citizens tackle her.
Citizen #1: Get her!
Annie's ring on her right-hand clicks, revealing a blade and cuts her finger.
Y/N: Shit!
A colossal lightning blot strikes Annie.
The Female Titan reveals herself.
Y/N: Damnit!
Y/N reaches for his hand and nearly bites it.
Armin: Y/N!
Y/N: Get Eren out of here! I'll hold her!
Y/N bites his hand.
Y/N: Come on!
Another bolt of lightning strikes Y/N.
Y/N turns into the War Hammer Titan.
Y/N: What the?!
Y/N feels weak as his body started to feel intense pain.
Y/N: Did I use this Titan too much?!
Y/N emerges from the nape, a cord extending his back to the Titan.
The War Hammer Titan starts to position itself in a fighting stance.
Y/N is casing himself in a crystal, the flesh cord connecting him to the War Hammer Titan.
Inside the tunnel...
Armin: Come on, Eren! Y/N is still up there!
Eren: I'm trying, ok!
Eren bites his hand again, and he starts to bleed.
Eren: Goddamnit!
Outside...
Y/N was on the ground.
Y/N lifted his face to the Female Titan.
Y/N: Annie...
Y/N turns to the War Hammer Titan on top of a building, unable to move.
The Female Titan reached for Y/N, grabbing him.
Annie (inside): I'm sorry, Y/N.
RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Y/N: About time, Eren!
Eren's Titan: RRRROOOOOOOAAAAARRRR!!!
Eren (inside): HAAAAAAAAAAA!
Eren punches the Female Titan to a chapel nearby, with the Wall Religion members inside, killing them all except for Pastor Nick.
Eren's Titan gives another roar as Y/N was hauled to a nearby building by Armin and Mikasa.
Armin: Get some rest.
Armin leaves.
The second battle against the Female Titan was successful, with Annie was taken in, but many civilians and soldiers died in the fight. Y/N was on the verge of death, but he had managed to survive. But what did this mean? Are there more Titan-Shifters among us?
