"Please, Dad!"

"No."

"Pleeaase, Dad,"

"No."

"Please Love,"

"No,"

"Please Will!"

"NO! How many times do I have to say it?"
Will looked around at Storm, Atlas, Ngaio and myself with a half furious half irritated look.

"Oh come on Lad, lighten up," Jack laughed from behind hitting Will's hat of his head. All tension left the air between those Will still held a lot of reservation.

"Please Will, it's not far from here and we know the terrain, you two had a fight in a massive water wheel across it." I reasoned gesturing to Jack and Will.

Will sighed dramatically.
"Fine, we will go after this treasure and see what it is. And if it's not anything good I'm leaving you and Jack on the Island."

"Oh come on Will," I laughed. "We all know you won't do that,"

"Yeah you won't do that," Jack concluded.

"Your right, I'll just leave Jack." Will grinned walking away as Jack yelled in protest which was only met by laughter.

"Do worry Jackie," I smiled sauntering over to Jack. "I won't let Will maroon you on another island.

"You better not," He kissed me lightly.

I draped my arms around his neck casually moving closer to him.
"Although," I began allowing a grin to pull at my lips. "If I did. I would not end up in such dumb and perilous situations. Nor would I end up angering nearly every woman this side of the pacific by being by your side when we walk through Tortuga," I listed watching a small from began to etch itself on Jack's face. "But." I moved closer to him. "Where would the fun be in that," I grinned closing the gap between us once more.

"Ew!" The twins cried together. Jack and I continued to kiss for a moment longer but pulled away due to the incessant dismay of the younger generation.

Jack and I laughed to ourselves for a bit.

"This is why we don't have kids."

"Aye, it most certainly is Jackie."

All while later, I found Ngaio by the bow looking over the water seeming quite peaceful. Of course, as her twin, it was my duty to disturb it. I achieved my mission quite well by sneaking up behind, grabbing her shoulders and shouting boo as loudly as I could.

Ngaio attempted to not react but failed miserably in doing so.
"I hate you," She murmured still looking out as the waves crashed against the ship.
"No, you don't," I smirked giving her a brief hug.

"Did you ever think we would end up here?" She questioned. "When you were younger, I mean."

"When I was younger I thought Dad was a good father. I don't think my judgement was very good," I laughed.

"So did I until he threatened me at kni- claw point." She corrected causing us to both bursts out into laughter.

"I suppose, I did always hope I'd end up here. Still sailing the seas looking for some adventure but never like this. And when I was taken in by the governor I thought id be stuck on that miserable island for the rest of my life where I'd be forced to marry some poncy Lord."

Ngaio snorted.

"What was that for?" I punched Ngaio lightly.

"Oh I was just thinking of you in a dress at some fancy dinner party," Ngaio laughed.

"The only time I want to be going to a dinner party if it to scare the guests and take the booze," I said. "Speaking of booze. Where pray to tell, has your husband hidden it?" I questioned.

"Away from prying little eyes," She said looking at the twine who were playing around on the deck.

"Aye, mischievous those two aren't they? Though I expect nothing less from my niece and nephew," I commented watching as they ran about the deck wooden swords in hand once more.

Much to Will's dismay, it did not take us long to bust out the rum again both Ngaio and I having a bottle in hand traipsing about the boat recalling old times and telling new stories. Jack had gone back to sleep but didn't seem to have much luck with Storm and Atlas deciding him to be their new source of entertainment for the time being.

The golden sun shone brightly in the sky as the clouds trundled by slowly on this warm day. The island was in our sights now and drawing closer with every second. The twins were bubbling with excitement jumping about the ship chattering excitedly about what we might unearth once we found whatever was buried.

When it came time to go we were all filled with a small sadness for Will could not join us. He could only come on land once every ten years and had already done so in this decade.

He measured us that it was fine and soon we found ourselves back on the golden sand of the island. We sat on the sand for a moment trying to decipher where it was exactly we had to go for the compass wasn't being particularly useful with either of me, Ngaio and Jack.

"Hey Storm," Jack said after a moment and holding out his compass. "Take this for a second."

We all peered at Storm as she held the compass. The needle span round and round and eventually settled in a direction.

"I think we have our heading," Jack declared quite proud of his idea.

We headed onwards across the beach and into the trees telling the twins of the story with the island rather theatrically recalling the bets made and the chases and weird fights involving the massive water wheel.

Of course, as most stories involving Jack went it went off course and became a little exaggerated on Jack's part. Ngaio and I had a lot of fun teasing him and correcting him on all accounts and we plunged further into the thick treeline.

"Are we nearly there?" Atlas questioned still filled with fresh excitement.

"Who knows but whatever this is better be bloody worth it," I laughed ducking under some branches.

"Aye, if I am not faced with a chest filled to the brim with gold and gems in the next hour. I just might lose my last drop of sanity. " Jack agreed.

"Jackie you're not fooling anyone. That went a long time ago," I teased with a grin pressing a short kiss to his lips.

"You say as if you've still got some yourself Cel," Ngaio pointed out.

"Ngaio, we are the children of Davy Jones and Calypso. I have battled undead pirates and become one myself. We have sailed off the end of the world into Davy Jones locker, brought Jack back from the dead and fought the bloody Kraken. Do any of us really have much sanity left at this point?" I raised an eyebrow in question.

"No I doubt you would," The response was what I was after but the voice I came from was not familiar.
