Jack stood on the edge of the step staring down at us. His foot would move from the step hover in the air momentarily before he thought better of it and planted it back firmly on the stone floor.

"Come on Jackie! We need to be finding a way out of here not waiting for you to get over your fear of heights," I shouted up half laughing at the same time.

"Are you absolutely sure?"

"Yes Jackie, look Domino's fine isn't she and I didn't have any warning that time," I reasoned.

He shook his head.

"Jack Sparrow, you've fought an immortal octopus man in the middle of a maelstrom, you've killed the bloody Kraken what's so different now?" I put my hands on my hips and stared up at the man half smirking as he tried to work out a way to explain and fumbled over his words. I knew it was because I was the one catching him and whilst he knew I wouldn't let him die he didn't trust that I wouldn't mess with him. All in all, he was spot on with his assumptions.

"Wait, he fought Davy Jones?" Alaris questioned.

"Yep," I replied stretching my fingers towards the water which flowed up and swirled between my fingers then sending it up the rock face.

"Did he win?" Dominique queried.

"Nope," I laughed. "Definitely not," I grinned finally putting my plan into action. A sudden burst of water shocked Jack sending him flying off the edge.

"I hate you sometimes you know that," Jack pouted as I lowered him into the shallow pool of water.

"You don't hate me, Jackie," I teased picking his hat that was bobbing through the water. I handed it to Domino who spent no time putting the hat on.

"Oi, that's mine!"

"I know." She smiled sweetly at her father before gathering round the golden chest with Scrum, Alaris, Storm and Atlas.

"She is definitely you're daughter," I laughed helping Jack up from the water and removing it from his clothes.

"Aye, that's what concerns me," he declared a half-smiling half-seriously concerned.

"What're you worried about she can't be worse than you," I teased with a grin. Stepping closer to him and grabbing the sides of his jackets.

"I'm not that bad," He objected as his hands slide around my waist.

"Oh no, I think you are," I nodded stretching up onto my toes and moving my face centimetres away from his.

"Am not." He plucked my hat off my head and put it on with a charming smile.

"Are too," I countered kissing him briefly. "Take it from your wife. Who had spent most of her life around pirates and the last seventeen years with you."

"I can't believe I've been putting up with you for that long," He commented and leaned in to kiss me again but slower and longer this time.

"Umm when you two are done there's the chest that you know we all almost died for," Alaris reminded and the others laughed.

"One problem Ara, it's locked," Domino pointed out with a heavy. "I swear if we can't open this I'm going to help Celeste resurrect this guy to kill him."

"You can hold off on murder for a little while,"  Storm commented pulling out a couple of lock picks from her pocket.

"Wait since when do you say no to murder?" Atlas questioned with a smirk. Alaris and Domino shot each other mildly alarmed glancing before looking at me and Jack.
