Chapter 5 - The Island

Jack and I gather several bottles of rum between us and sat back down in the sand.
"What are you two doing? We should be coming up with a plan," Elizabeth said angrily.

"Plan can wait for tomorrow. For once in my life I want to do something fun, " I replied
"So what do you plan on doing then?" I threw her a bottle.

"Drinking," I simply said before downing half the bottle of rum. Jack looked at me in awe and surprise.
"What?"

"Hmm, nothing," he said taking a big swig from his bottle.

"yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me," Jack and I sang loudly whilst drunkenly dancing around the fire we had somehow managed to make before getting really drunk. It had gotten dark now but we still had rum left, that I was very grateful for.

"Oh I love that song," Jack exclaimed before wobbling slightly and grabbing onto me only to send us both toppling to the ground. we both laughed rather hysterically for a moment before settling down. I looked over at Elizabeth who was passed out in the sand.

"Can't handle her drinks ay?" Jack asked.

"She can but not as much as us apparently. I mean she a few years younger than both of us that might be why," I said slightly slurred and leaning on Jack.

I started to close my eyes slightly not really by choice.

"G'night Luv."

"Night Jacky," I said before falling asleep.

I woke up only to find myself lying half on top of Jack.

"Why hello there Luv," Jack said moving closer. I pushed his face away, rolled off of him and groaned.

"Not the time Jack."

"Oh so there is a time, " Jack smirked.

"In your dreams Jack."

I sniffed the air.

"Is that... smoke?"

Jack got up.

"No no no, what are you doing? You've burnt all the food, the shade... the rum!" Jack cried. I jumped up.
"Elizabeth Swan if you have burned all the rum I am going to kill you!" Shouted from my position on the beach.

"The rum is gone," she said to both Jack and me.

"Why is the rum gone," we both said with a hint of sadness.

"One because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels and two that signal is over 100 miles high the entire royal navy is out looking for me do you think there is even a chance they won't see it?" She said slumping down in the sand.
Jack pointed his gun at Liz contemplating shooting her but decided against it and walked off, I followed.

"Celeste where are you going?"

"I'm going with the person who didn't burn all the damn rum!" I called over my shoulder before catching up with Jack who was angrily mimicking Elizabeth.

"Sorry 'bout her, " I said to Jack walking beside him.

"Sorry?! She burned all the rum!"

"Hey! I am just as annoyed about that," I said. Jack stopped walking.
"Fantastic," he said sarcastically. The Navy was already here.

"Well, that sucks," I said.

"Well, what do I do now? Stay here and starve or be hanged?" Jack said angrily.

"We should go back. I will try my best to make sure you don't see a noose anytime soon."

"That's no guarantee Luv."
