I glared at him as he smiled.

"Tell me, what business?" I questioned as he hung his hands around my waist.

"Alright Madam." He continued,

"I'm going to one of my clubs to meet some allies and few other people."

"I will come with you." I said holding his coat.
"Princess, I don't want you to get tired. Be here, I'll be back in no time." He said placing a kiss on my forehead before leaving. Is he serious on leaving me here again? If he's not back 'in no time', he better be ready for some high level act today.

I turned around and saw flora placing the breakfast on the table. She sat on the chair and told me to sit with her.

I don't know why, but whenever Igor is away I feel so worried about him. Even though I'm well aware of the fact that he has been doing this business for years but still.... It scares me after what happened.

Taking small slurps of soup, I began feeling sick again. Whenever it's something good cooked, my morning sickness shows up in heels.

I finished my breakfast so how and helped flora to clean up the kitchen. There's no work I'm left with now other than sitting and overthinking my soul out. I went inside my room and took out few magazines and turned on some music.

Nowadays, trends change so quickly that you may skip few and won't even know. I personally like light coloured aesthetics.

For about half an hour, I kept turning the pages and fell asleep I'm the same position.

AFTER 1 HOUR :

I woke up from sudden noise that came from outside. I didn't mind it thinking it was Flora or maybe Igor. But now that I'm up, I'll not be able to sleep, thanks to whoever did this.

I heard that noise again. It feels like someone is running around the house. It's not a good thing ignoring this, maybe I should look for what it is.

I felt quite worried and decided to check from where these weird noises were coming.

I opened the door and peeked outside. Nobody there. Everything seems alright.
I went out and checked the Hall and kitchen. Till now, I didn't find anyone, maybe, there's no one here. I decided to go and tell this to Flora and found her room's door already open.

"Flora, I heard some vo.... " I saw her unconscious on the floor and body was covered with chills and eyes widened in fright.

Oh my god....!!! There's someone around, I will have to do something quick.
I took a step forward to rush towards her. But suddenly someone placed a gun on my head from my side.

Whoever did this, didn't speak anything, just firmly held the gun on my head. At this point, I'll do anything out of terror.

I held my breath for moment and out of confusion and fear shoved my elbow inside whoever it was's stomach. He wasn't expecting me to react and hence, his grip on the gun loosened and I picked it up. I kicked him as hard as I could between his legs and he fell down, crying. The last thing I could see was the flower vase, best finishing touch. He tried to run before I grab the vase but I was successful in knocking him out on the floor.

This was something that I could never. I feel so proud of myself even though it's a coincidence. But this isn't time for thinking about all these things. There are for sure many intruders here. First thing, I must check on Flora. I rushed towards her unconscious body.

Thank god, she's fine. I tried to wake her up but she didn't respond. I managed to drag her inside the washroom and locked up the door so that we are safe. Maybe now I should try waking her up. I splashed some water on her face but she's still unconscious. I think I must wait, that's all I can do at this point.
