AZALEA'S POV:

I picked up my bag that was on the couch and began to leave.

"Wait, Don't go Azalea." he said as my heart clenched with pain. Why is this hurting me?
I don't even want to leave then why am I doing this? Is it just for my ego?

"Leave me alone, just like you did 6 months ago." I said stepping forward.

"You were never alone, love. I wasn't there for you but you were never out of my sight. Wherever you went, wherever you go and where you stay, I had an eye on all of them" he disclosed. Does that means Carson and Jadyn... I had a doubt but I never wanted to admit it. They were all with him, all this time.

He came close to me while I stood there thinking about how intelligent these people are in fooling someone. He leaned close to my neck and placed a quick kiss on my sweet spot. His fingers traced there way up on my arm, spreading the heat inside my core.

I instantly stepped forward and opened the door. It will not go as he wants it to. I'm not in state of taking any decision at this point. I don't know what I'm doing is right or wrong, all I know is I want to go back and try calming myself down.

I took quick steps down and reached the exit. I glanced at my phone, it was 9 by now. I don't think anyone will agree to come to this part of the city. Maybe I should try calling Carson, he must be home by now.

I contacted him as it said it was switched off. But he never keeps it away from him, how it's supposed to be switched off ? Probably the battery would have died. I called Jadyn instantly after that but he didn't pick up. I'm quite worried for them. I tried few more time as there was no answer again. Where in the hell are both of them, ignoring my calls? We're going to have a long talk.

Igor came out following me and took out his keys from his pocket.

"I'll drop you back, get in." he said, opening the door for me. I tried to call them again but there is no response from their side and it's making me worried more than angry. If it wasn't so far, I would have said no. But right now, I need to get out of here.

I got in and fastened my seatbelt while still trying to contact them both. He sat on next and drove off.

I swear this is the last time I'm calling them and after that I'm going to eat all the snacks they hide from each other.

I called Carson while looking out through the window. Finally, he picked up on the last ring.

"Hey girl! Where are you at." He said as I replied angrily,

"Where are you at, huh? Why weren't you picking up, I called you so many times."

"I'm so sorry, actually, Jadyn and I were having some personal time, you know what I mean." he said shyly as I chuckled, all my anger sliding down my mind.

"Oh.. Okay Okay, then it's considerable. Well... I'll be back in some time. If you want, I'll bring dinner with me." I asked him.

"Oh no no, we've prepared dinner. Come back soon." He said as I agreed and hung up. This was quite weird as he didn't ask me where I was and nor did he ask me why I'm this late. He might already know that I'm with him.

I kept my phone in my purse and continued looking out of the window. It was again a foggy night with little cool atmosphere. This night is just like that one.

Suddenly, he placed his hand on mine with his other hand on the steering wheel, stroking it gently.

IGOR'S POV:

I held her delicate hand in mine as she continued to look away.

I don't think she can ever love me back just like she did before. After all, this was what I wanted, right? I can't risk her life by dragging her into this world, where there's danger on each step. I her wanted to stay away from this darkness and hence I had to separate her from me.
