The next few days were somewhat strange. And by that, I meant that nothing dangerous happened.

Which was weird because something dangerous always happened.

Chiron finally accepted my idea to redecorate the big house. The place could really use a change of scenery. So that brings me to the present. I was walking towards the stables to check up on blackjack.

I passed by the arena and saw a few campers training.

I noticed Andromeda sparring against Clarisse, who was giving her tips on how to use a spear.

Andromeda was claimed by Apollo on the day after she arrived. She was fifteen, which was much older than what we had agreed to with the gods. I needed to have a talk with Apollo.

I noticed Annabeth talking to Malcolm, probably something related to books, yeah... I know her pretty well.

But she had been acting a bit odd for the past few days. She's always suspicious of everyone and easily angered. I needed to talk to her about it. Something was on her mind.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when Chiron walked out of the big house. He hit his hooves to the ground, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Children," he said in a voice of both authority and kindness. "The gods have summoned us to Olympus for the ceremony. We leave in ten minutes".

I must admit, I completely forgot about the reward ceremony. I hurriedly went into my cabin to get ready.

I had a quick shower and changed into more presentable clothes. I knew this ceremony will take a long time, especially with Zeus boasting about how great he is.

I made my way to the camper vans. I met Andromeda on the way. We had grown closer over the week, talking about our messed up pasts. She apparently had a middle name that she wouldn't tell me about.

I had asked her not to mention the incident with glowing hands to the camp. She had raised an eyebrow but listened to me.

"Ooh, nice dress," Andromeda said, walking beside me. "Trying to get laid?"

I almost tripped and fell, which was apparently hilarious for her. I couldn't help but crack a small smile myself.

"Oh shut up, Andy," I said with a roll of my eyes.

"Don't call me that," She immediately said, even though I knew she liked the nickname.

"Besides, I have a girlfriend," I reminded her.

I saw her smile falter a bit, confusing me a little. I decided to just ignore it.

We reached the van and, one by one, sat inside. Once everyone was in, the van gave a rumble before starting.

The journey was quite uncomfortable, with everyone squeezing against each other for space. When we reached, we quickly got out of the vans and breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Chiron gathered the younger campers and motioned us to follow him. We entered the lobby of the Empire State Building and waited for the doorman to notice us.

After an irritating amount of time, he looked at us. When his eyes landed on Chiron, he nodded and pulled out a key from his desk, handing it to the centaur.

Chiron quickly ushered us into the elevator, inserting the key and pressing the button for the 600th floor.

We held on tightly as the elevator sped towards Olympus. The terrible elevator music did nothing to improve our mood. Finally, the doors opened to reveal the majestic halls of Olympus.
